Life is unpredictable and this journey has been a wild one. At this point in my life, I'm ready to simplify and unfortunately, this means I'll be stepping away from weddings.

As of today, I will no longer be booking any additional ceremonies for 2023 and will be limiting my bookings for 2024. I'm excited for what comes next for me and am beyond grateful to the couples who entrusted me with their ceremonies. Thank you for the support I've received over the years from family, friends, and vendors. You all mean the world to me.

The truth is that without the ceremony, your "wedding" is just a big ol' party!
The point of a ceremony is to create the foundation of your marriage through commitments. It really comes down to the promises you give to and receive from one another, knowing without a shadow of a doubt that the person standing in front of you will be by your side through it all.
Ceremonies are also part of the celebration. It's important to soak in the good stuff that life brings our way - it's all about taking a moment to share your love with each other and with your loved ones. So let's create a pause in time to take it all in and get excited about the future. Because at the end of the day, your ceremony should be memorable, personal and fun!

Can I Get A Witness?!
Here's a few items you may need to know about your witnesses:
1️⃣ Anyone can sign as a witness and there is no age minimum but the person must understand what they are signing.
2️⃣ You are required to have one witness for a public license but can have up to two. Confidential licenses do not require any witnesses.
3️⃣ There are three parts to the witness signature: Signature, Printed Name & Address
4️⃣ Since this is a legal document, all writing must be clear and concise, meaning you have to be able to read it. That means if they have terrible handwriting or have a hard time writing, you may want to reconsider your choice. Also, no random hearts, stars, tick marks, dots, lines, etc.
5️⃣ All aspects should be written out - meaning no abbreviations! Write out "Santa Barbara" not "SB", or write out "Street", not "St".
6️⃣ All writing must be kept in the boxes given to you - stay in the lines!

Of course, with all witnesses, I explain this all thoroughly to them before handing them the pen but mistakes happen! If anything is flagged as unacceptable, don't worry, you're still married. However, the County Recorder's office will require us to file a duplicate marriage license for an additional fee where it's completely typed out and will delay the recorder process.

Rituals only carry the meanings we give them. Rings are just pieces of jewelry unless we wear them with the intension of carrying our vows. Reading are just words unless they invoke a feeling or thought. And unity ceremonies are just physical items unless they represent the nature of your relationship. Part of the magic of a ceremony is we create meaning behind the seemingly meaningless.

This lasso ceremony was carefully cultivated with these two gentlemen in mind. The tradition was showcased in the marriage G's parents and the color used in the florals represent S's late mother. The blending of two families into one beautiful sight.

Wedgewood Pacific Tower Club is located on the top floor of the Morgan Stanley building in Oxnard with ceremony options in their garden area on the property, inside their penthouse suite overlooking the skyline or beach ceremonies near Ventura Harbor.
