She is self-taught and has discovered over the years that she has a natural gift through experimentation with various artistic mediums. Although her work is always evolving, her eye for design, use of color, and intense attention to detail is constant, making her jewelry beautiful pieces of wearable art. Amy works with a variety of materials, which include semi-precious stones, pearls, crystals, e
xotic wood, shells, various glass beads, chain, ribbon, and leather. Rarely will you see two pieces exactly alike. Her jewelry is versatile, delightful and eclectic. She enjoys experimenting with unexpected combinations of materials and styles. By incorporating vintage pieces and unusual thrift store finds, she fashions some of her more interesting pieces. Working one on one with a client allows her to create a custom piece that is truly their own, expressing their distinctive personality and unique style. Throughout the years she has donated many pieces to non-profit organizations and fundraisers, including Shaken Baby Alliance, the Phoenix Project, and RECPTA. She has shown solo and alongside other talented artists at several galleries and locations throughout the Dallas/FT. Worth area, including The Wine Therapist, Chi Gallery, Linwood-Alford Florist, Oxide Gallery, Wine Styles ,The Gallery at Lander’s Machine Shop, and Xue Gallery. She has also participated in The 2010 Winnetka Heights Holiday Home Tour, several trunk shows, and Arts Goggle in FT.
