Buenos Aires Empanadas/ Made in Argentina Az Argentinian Restaurant . Bringing a taste of Argentina to the Valley . So I decided hey instead of missing it let me bring a little taste of it here to YOU.

My name is Alexandra and I moved to this beautiful State a little over a year ago from New York City. I miss home and family ESPECIALLY all my favorite Argentinian Bakeries and restaurants which were so easily accessible in NY. Although I have grown up in NYC I come from Argentinian parents who immigrated to the states back in 1967. My parents couldnt decide whether we were staying or going so we

traveled to Argentina often (so many great memories) My parents like most immigrants felt it was important for us to never lose our customs and so glad that I can speak spanish and drink Mate (a argentinian tea that helps with digestion amongst other things) I love my heritage How could I not ? we are the country well known for STEAK! TANGO! FUTBOL!(soccer) Dulce de Leche ! and of course EMPANADAS!! Which i learned how to make at a very young age Thanks to my Mother . I have made them throughout the years for friends and family. With much love. I enjoy making these yummy pastry pockets filled with Goodness ! Yes I sing while I cook and always add the LOVE. Now I want to make them for your friends and family > Give them a try I know you will love them > I take orders at least a week in advance ! Let me cater your next get together ! Your next event! HEY SUPER BOWL IS COMING UP ! THEY ARE AS TASTY AS WINGS LOL.

I always post about the markets and eMpanadas
Today I want you all to know a little something else . Yesterday was very special . My parents celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. When I spoke with them on the phone I got so emotional . I realized how important this has been in my life . To watch them all these years go through so many hurdles and still come out strong Together. Struggles like distance as so many immigrant families go through, my Dad lived here while we were in Argentina etc.
I have learned so much from them. From my Mother , how to be a strong independent woman . From my Father all the qualities of leadership and work ethic . His entire career was in Fine Dining and I started in the restaurant business quite young because of him . He was and always will be my hero .
I look up to Both of them They make me who I am . It pushed me to do what I'm doing. With a lot of love and passion . Thanks to them . Now I see that with my own children .
