Here’s what we know about you at 6 months

🗣You love to talk (you must get that from your dad) and sometimes you coo yourself to sleep
đŸ’Ș You don’t lay flat. You are ALWAYS in a V-Up
🧐 Your FOMO is real and we therefore can no longer eat in front of people
đŸ‘ŠđŸ»Your self-defense skills are kicking in, aka you’ve started pulling your brother’s hair
🚗You still wake up about twice a night, but your car naps save us from going stir crazy at home
💕You’re Cart’s favorite car ride buddy. He loves singing to you and holding your hand
đŸ„Č You’re so strong, love to scoot around, and are entering your “potted plant” phase
đŸ„‘ You’ve started solids, but mainly love chewing on your spoon

Your Dad and I always talk about how precious you are, and how blessed we are to have you and your brother. You make our nights a little longer, days a little busier, and our lives so much better. Happy 6 months my love!

All taking place In the town where they first met! We love these two with our whole hearts, and were so blessed to have had the opportunity to celebrate them last November. This was Maddie and Caleb's first celebration of 2021! Their church ceremony was a private one, that took place in their hometown of Pittsburgh, PA amongst their families.

Our Story

In April 2017, while finishing up at Penn State, I put the money I made from working in the hospitality industry towards a camera, monopod, and computer. While finishing up my degrees in Hospitality and Film, I rented equipment from the university and began shooting events and sessions.

My sister, Catherine began working with me, shooting photography, while I shot video at our first wedding as Samantha Malizia Films. We covered over 35 sessions and events together, including our first 4 weddings, most in State College, PA. About a year later, my fiancé, Evan joined the team and we moved to Bridgeville, PA (right outside of Pittsburgh).

Samantha Malizia Films is a family who love, not only working together but being together. We LOVE bringing that relaxed, joyful and excited energy to our clients! Whether it is for our couples on their wedding days, families at their portrait sessions, or seniors at their shoots, we believe that your photography and videography should be an experience and one that you love! We hope that when you work with us, you feel that your photo or video experience is not something you had to get through, but something you FREAKING LOVED doing with us! You deserved to be jazzed!

Other Things: 1. Never be afraid to chat with any of us! We love getting to know people and answering questions! 2. We find comfort in people. If you’re that way and you ever feel nervous about the camera, take a look at the person or people surrounding you! They’re amazing, and you look your best when you’re smiling at them! 3. Even the small moments are big deals. Don’t take them for granted!
