Owner, Ayana Elon, was born and raised in Louisiana where pralines are well-liked by the residents from New Orleans to Shreveport. In 2009, she created her own recipe for pralines and named the sweets "Yalines" (pronounced Yah-leens). In 2011, Ayana began to make a plain Pecan Praline Truffle. She had taken her Creamy Pecan Praline mixture and shaped it to form bite-size balls. It was a new twist

on an old favorite. In 2014, she took the plain Pecan Praline Truffles and began to decorate them using Ghirardelli White and Dark Chocolates, pecan pieces, almond slices, and coconut. The Pralines and Pecan Praline Truffles are made using sugars, real butter, heavy cream, milk, light corn syrup, sea salt, pure vanilla, and pecan pieces. Our pralines are very smooth and creamy. The Creamy Pecan Pralines and Pecan Praline Truffles really do melt in your mouth. When tasting YALINES, you will have a hard time eating just one so order plenty for yourself and some for family and friends. We believe you will enjoy our pralines as much as we do. Our most popular food waste tip of 2021? Turn your leftover corn cobs into a delicious stock! It's a delicious and zero-waste way to get the most out of every ear of corn. Here's how to do it:

🌽 After you cut off the corn kernels, put the cobs in a pot and cover them with water. If you boiled your corn, you can just return the cobs to this liquid and save some time.
🌽 Add an onion, a few cloves of garlic, and some bay leaves if you have them.
🌽 Simmer for 1-2 hours until the liquid is rich and sweet. Then strain it, cool it, and put it in your refrigerator.
🌽 Use corn stock as the base for soup, corn chowder, or risotto!

Our Chocolate Chip Cookies will be available in Charlotte, NC soon. These are baked, unlike my Pecan Pralines. People sometimes mistake the Pecan Pralines for cookies because of their shape. (The pralines are actually a candy confection.) ☺
