Are we summer wedding ready? Of course! ☀️
We had the privilege of creating the perfect June menu for Bethany & Liam last weekend and served it all up in gorgeous sunshine!
This lovely couple wanted a BBQ to enhance their summer celebrations, so we went big on flavours to tickle every tastebud, including hoisin marinated pork ribs and jerk chicken 🍗

Did you know that a canapé is a decorative French sofa? 🤔
👉🏼 In France in the mid 1800’s a chef created a new type of hors d’oeuvre by putting a savoury topping on a piece of bread or toast. The topping was thought to sit on the bread like a person sitting on a sofa - hence the snack came to be called a canapé 💡

Here’s Head Chef Joey prepping some beautiful canapés for Amy and Stu’s wedding last weekend. How mouth-watering do these sound?
🐟 Smoked salmon blinis, crème fraîche, caviar and dill
🌶️ Roast potatoes with miso mayo and sriracha

If Friday was a cake it would be this tower of delight we created for a couple last week.

The main event was a vanilla sponge with lashings of white chocolate icing and fresh fruit, accompanied by not one but two flavours of cupcakes:

🧁 Dark chocolate and salted caramel
🧁 Vanilla with white chocolate, lemon and lime

Our favourite thing about event catering? It has to be the variety that we get to experience. You really keep us on our toes and we never know what we might be cooking next!
