That’s a wrap! Here’s to a “New Year!”

This is what we call our “Fancy Table” A time when we bring out the china that we “registered” for before we got married! This is also the table where my Mother In Law, Elaine sat and looked around the table with pride at the legacy that she would someday leave behind. Some years our family outnumbered our table capacity but we just kept extending! This year however, Elaine was too frail to be at our “Fancy Table” but we went to her. Despite Christmas, life still happens. It reminds me of when Jesus came into this world, life was happening, Mary was about to give birth, there was no room in the Inn, No proper bed for birth, just a humble, probably smelly stable, but there was Life, a beautiful life named Jesus. on Dec. 29th in the quiet of the night, My mother in law, Elaine was called by our Savior, to come home. She never sat at our “fancy table” but that is ok because I know that she’ll be sitting with a King ! Until we meet again! Your family ❤️
