Write a Instagram caption for me.
A bit of a different post for me over here and it’s a bit long.
But What a year! Filled with many ups and downs, lots of learning, growing and forgiving.
One of the hardest years for my mental health but finally accepted that I have been struggling for many years. My postpartum journey with Ellie has been unimaginably hard but also one of the most eye opening experiences.
Starting medication and accepting that I need it. Finding a therapists that is right for me and who I get excited to see and talk to.
Learning that my son is me as a child, sensitive, caring, and loves so big. Learning that what I wanted as a child is what I need to give and show him.
Navigating Ellie who is full of character and has a huge personality. The minute she was born I was like “ I have no idea how to parent her.”
And now ending the year with finding and doing something I am truly passionate about.
I love working with food and have always loved being in the kitchen. To be able to combine beauty, creativity and food into something I can share with other has been so fun and rewarding.
Here is to 2024, a year that will be filled with more growth, giving myself space when needed and going back to school with is so scary for me while growing Heirloom + Maple.
Thank you to all of my friends and family, I could not have asked for a better support system during this hard ass year! And thank you for supporting me during this journey to find something I am truly passionate about.
2024 is going to be a good year for us!!!🤎🤎🤎
