What can I say? was an absolute blast filled with memories, love, and friends. I’m taking some time to reevaluate my place in this community as an equal rather than an outsider, because I’ve been shown nothing but full acceptance and love by my fellow cosplay community. It has been an immense feeling of joy and fulfillment.

To .cosplay and , I couldn’t have asked for better co-judges. Literally couldn’t create a better team if I tried.

Thank you to my photographer, roomie, and booth babe for an excellent weekend!!! We killed it.

And ty to the NYCC team for the invitation and support!

I don’t even know what happens from here, but I know I want it to happen with all of the people I spent time with this weekend. If you weren’t there, you missed a great one!!!

Phone shots by at from Day 1! Without the wings and sword, I hadn’t scheduled a real shoot. But I got to steal Alex for these shots right as the sun went down at the Javits 💗

She’s gonna do quick cell shoots at future cons for cheap. I’ve convinced her. But the big shoots are so worth it if you plan it right!!!

Today is judging - I’ll be in Merida for the championships tonight!!! See you all there 💗

🚨 New York Comic Con starts in a few days!!! 🚨 I wanted to share my plans with everyone so you know where to find me and what cool things there is to get into.

Baldur's Gate 3 Meetup at New York Comic Con 2-3pm @ Inner Roadway (Directly out front of Javits between the center and 11th Ave)

Saturday - Merida from Brave (Disney Designer Doll Collection)
I'll be judging all day, but you can get lots of merch and goodies at my booth.
7pm - 9pm: Cosplay Central Crown Championships Qualifier

Sunday - Sypha from Castlevania
Cosplay Costume Showcase @ 4-5pm

My booth will be running for a majority of the time even when I'm not at it thanks to Alexandra Lee Studios , so stop over and check out all the cool items we have and get a pic with me when I'm there!

I’m so excited to finally share some photos of one of several projects we sent to for Geeked Week! These are Vi gauntlets, and the process was a BEAST.

First, they needed to be able to be used in hand-to-hand ‘combat’. So we wanted them cast in foam. The mold was printed in resin and designed by and .props to be assembled in 4 pieces for casting.

The first cast in foam was a disaster and required engine hoists to pull apart. We then cast a ‘shell’ in urethane rubber and then filled with foam for the final result. The gantlet had a plug cavity with a handle inside.

I will have videos of the whole process, but enjoy the photos for now! Thanks for another great collab 💗 and thank you to for the huge assist with material info.

Trying to sketch out the feather pattern for Dame Aylin’s wings. I think I’m getting close to what I want.

Wing bones are a kit I purchased from because I’m lazy and didn’t feel like cutting the pipes and getting the other parts together. Plus, I get to support other creators in that process!

Instead of making a full undersuit out of scalemail or foam, I decided to create an undersuit of dark mermaid scale fabric to mimic scalemail.

It’s certainly more comfortable and will allow for me to create openings for rigging of the armor. This is for Dame Aylin from Baldur’s Gate 3.

The pattern is a modified bodysuit.

I’m also still trying to figure out how to do better photos. I can’t nail down how people fix the backdrop in post to look so much nicer. Who can teach me??? 🥺
