Can’t wait to head back to one of our favourite Italian cities in a fortnight’s time for a gorgeous winter wedding ✨

Throwback to warmer times and the dreamiest of days shooting in a dress that I was beyond obsessed with, together with looking rather dapper, for their engagement shoot.

The greatest honour to work with and our long time friends - what a wonderful day we had!

We won’t talk about the torrential downpour at 6am that we ran through to start prepping bright and early for a full day of shooting…one day we’ll share those videos 😂

And shoutout to the Bride to be who had champagne in hand at 7am in the streets of Venice for the first set of shots…our QUEEN! 🥂

We’re a small but mighty team headed up Catherine and our fantastic planners- Elise, Sarah & Aela.

Each of our couples will be assigned a Lead Planner for their wedding, along with a secondary Planner, who will guide them through each different planning phase from start to finish.

Sarah who also works as our Concierge extraordinaire for those who choose our Concierge bolt on service ‘su misura’, will help your guests get the most out of their trip to Italy 🇮🇹

FOUR REASONS to arrange a first look moment on your wedding day…⤵️⤵️⤵️

SWIPE to see Veronica and Mark’s stunning first look moments- if they don’t convince you to have a first look moment, then we don’t know what will!

We realise it’s not for everyone and totally a personal choice but we really recommend a first look! 📸

1️⃣ You’ll get more time to spend together, and you won’t feel rushed for your couples portraits. Arrange for before the ceremony, before guests arrive, to have 30-60 minutes together just the two of you with your photo and video team. You can touch up hair & make up after or even have a re-look.

2️⃣ You’ll get more time to be with your guests and enjoy your cocktail hour. Typically couples portraits will be post-ceremony, during cocktail hour, along with group photos- meaning the time you get to spend at your cocktail hour with your guests just enjoying the vibe is minimal.

3️⃣ You’ll be able to maximise your venue, having more time means your photographer can hunt out truly beautiful spots to shoot in that you may not have time for later on.

4️⃣ You can read your personal vows or a letter to each other in private and enjoy a truly special moment.

This gorgeous couple came to us looking for sophisticated and modern elegance for their wedding. The overall theme was a modern, luxurious vibe which was showcased through the timeless white flowers, and the breathtaking Tuscan landscape.

Hosted by Villa Petriolo, an organic estate within a farm that offers a full Tuscan experience, surrounded by the hills of Cerreto Guidi.

Connotations of darkness and otherworldly forces, of red and black, are conjured on this spiritual day…so we just had to share these images from a very special masked ball that we celebrated in Venice.

Just reminiscing about the unforgettable pre-wedding celebration we designed in magical Capri! 🌊✨ Their weekend kicked off in true Italian style with a glamorous boat ride along the island’s iconic coastline.

The day continued with a vibrant al fresco Italian dinner in a picturesque garden, with the florals and tambourines bringing so much colour and fun!

Every detail was planned to give the couple and their guests an unforgettable day to remember, setting the tone for what was an extraordinary wedding weekend.

Welcome bags are the perfect way to show some love to the guests who’ve gone the extra mile (literally!) to celebrate your big day. These thoughtful goodies not only make your guests feel appreciated but also help them dive right into the celebrations from the moment they arrive.

So, what should you pop into those welcome bags?

Start with an itinerary that lays out the wedding schedule and dress code, especially if you’re hosting a multi-day celebration. This saves guests from having to ask, “What’s next?” A local guide with top restaurant picks, must-see sights, and taxi numbers is a handy bonus for those looking to explore the area during their downtime.

Don’t forget to add a few local snacks and drinks to give your guests a taste of the region’s flavours. It’s a fun, delicious way to connect them to your wedding setting.

One of the best things about an Italian wedding? The backdrops!

Whether you choose a historic villa, a rustic farmhouse, or a seaside cliff on the Amalfi Coast overlooking the Mediterranean, you're spoilt for choice of Italian venues with stunning architecture and natural beauty.

Some things to consider when choosing your Italian venue:

👉 Is there a particular style of Italian wedding venue that appeals to you? Do you like lush opulence or something more rustic?
👉 Do your research and get to know what’s out there. What venues have you seen and liked, what do they cost? Can you get the information you want on them?
👉 Some venues have limited or old-fashioned websites, so get on Instagram and check out their tagged images.
👉 Then there's the practicalities... Do you require it to be close by to an airport? How many guests will you roughly be having? Are you happy to consider any region of Italy?
👉 See them for yourselves! It is really important to get out there and see your shortlist of venues in real life. We usually recommend seeing 4-5. If you can’t get out there, make sure to understand the venue inside out from with calls with them, or your planner.
