It's been quite a year... but a year it has been! SmallTalX celebrated it's first birthday at our October event at the Franschhoek Theatre. Since our first event in October 2023 with the fantastic Dr Sara Andreotti, we have hosted events on radio astronomy, snakes and reptiles, saxophones, caracals, wildflowers, coalition politics, ancient Rome, underwater life, springtails, artificial intelligence, white sharks and continental drift.

Starting out from the Franschhoek Theatre, we have also hosted events in the Helderberg at the fantastic Gordon's Bay Yacht Club.
