❗️Official Statement – Soca Addict 10th Anniversary

THANK YOU to everyone who came out to celebrate 10 years of Soca Addict our premium drinks-inclusive experience — your energy and support mean the world to us.

We want to be transparent about the challenges we faced. Just days before our event, the venue was hit with new sound and layout restrictions following sanctions enforced by Newham Council due to breaches by a promoted event held prior to our booking.

This meant we could no longer use the outdoor Yard space as planned and had to split the celebration across two indoor floors with strict capacity and fire safety limits.

While multi-floor setups with consistent music and sound quality are common, we know this last-minute change affected the flow and dynamic of the party. It wasn’t the seamless premium experience you’ve come to expect from Soca Addict, and we share your frustration.

These changes were out of our control, however, our team worked tirelessly with venue management, bar staff and sound engineers to ensure the celebration continued. We’re proud we could still bring everyone together, extend the party, and deliver the vibes that make Soca Addict special.

We thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support, and for rocking with us for 10 unforgettable years.
