Tomorrow my and Eva’s book, The Healing Power of Flowers, (Ebury Press 2021) is released tomorrow and we are so excited.

I began writing this book almost a year ago, just as Lockdown No 1 was announced, and there were times when we thought we might not be able to get hold of all the flowers we needed. However, thanks to some local flower growers and friends, we managed it.

The book contains over 80 beautiful photographs by Eva Nemeth, and the main focus of the book is on gifting flowers and how to source them sustainably (and why). As well as entries explaining the meaning, energy and / or properties of each flower, the book contains instructions on how to make a simple, meaningful bouquet from just a few ingredients (and some suggested flower combinations). There is also a section on how to dry flowers and another one on pressing them.

The book is available at online book retailers (and independent shops when they are open 🙏🏻) in the U.K. from tomorrow. It will also be available in the U.S. in a few months’ time.
