🏳️‍⚧️🕯Today we honour and mourn the lives lost to transphobic violence. In the UK, trans people face increasing hostility in the media, politics, and society. Remembering those we've lost is vital, but so is action to protect and support trans lives.

As a collective that is majority trans, She They Press Play stands unapologetically for trans joy, safety, and visibility. At Download Festival this year, we proudly flew a huge trans flag at the end of our set to show that we are here, thriving, and unafraid to take up space. This day is personal for us, and it’s a reminder of why we do what we do - to uplift and celebrate trans, non-binary and female voices in music and beyond.

We caught an awesome set from Tete Bang, drank way too many free cocktails, and caught up with all our DJ mates 💕 The 2025 lineup is looking epic - so excited to see bands like Spiritbox, Poppy and Svalbard on there. See everyone there in June! 🤘
