We live our motto - our VP of Sales and Exhibitor Experience, Daryl Sansevero sits down to lunch with his daughter pre-T.H.E. Show SoCal 2024 - with whom he’s been enjoying T.H.E. Show for over a decade. This is quite literally and we love it. Thank you, Daryl, for always involving and encouraging your family to part of this wonderful community.

Introducing T.H.E. Film Festival! Here at T.H.E., we’re delighted to be supporting and creating environments for music and movie lovers to consistently have elevated experiences to listen to and watch their favorite songs and films. As we did with our record label and radio show, we want to support filmmakers and creators in this space so everyone has new art to look forward to for years to come.

A full press release will be coming next week with all the details but for now, here is what we can tell you:

T.H.E. Film Festival will be occurring at each T.H.E. Show event across the country. This means live screenings of new films, music videos, and HiFi/home theater content that have been chosen by our panel of judges.

The screenings (the actual festival) will be in a custom designed space featuring the very best home theater systems.

We will have an awards ceremony at each T.H.E. event.

We have special entry sections specifically for HiFi and Home Theater focused content. This means if you’re a content creator who makes videos about these topics, you are eligible to submit!

Winners will also have their work shown on T.H.E. tV, our new TV network in partnership with ROKU, going out to over 83.6 million unique households (yes you read that number correctly).

Every year at T.H.E. Show SoCal, we strive to bring attendees a new and special experience and this past June was no different. While the esteemed and critically acclaimed Richard Vandersteen of Vandersteen Audio has spoken at T.H.E. many times before, we had never offered a special complimentary brunch and coffee morning with him for our attendees. This fully catered sit down experience introduced and allowed attendees to connect with Richard in a more down-to-Earth, memorable way and goodness knows, the place was PACKED! We’d like to thank Richard Vandersteen for always being so awesome with our attendees, and we’d like to thank our attendees for always being so enthusiastic to learn and experience new things!

The line (T.H.E. Line?) at T.H.E. Show SoCal 2024 this past June poured in from multiple directions. We were delighted to see such an influx of new faces and FAMILIES attending! Folks brought spouses, kids, best friends, neighbors, and colleagues from work/school. T.H.E. Show really IS where audio becomes family and frankly, we wouldn’t have it any other way. Thank you to all of our incredible attendees who brought such high vibes and great energy!

A fantastic panel led by Ron Resnick of What’s Best Forum on the current and future state of high end audio dealers featuring dealers with showroom spaces, and dealers who have other creative ways of reaching buyers! What were your reactions to this discussion? We recall a lot of folks had some very thoughtful questions.

The Audio Association had a presence in two incredible rooms at T.H.E. Show SoCal 2024, this being one of them!! They teamed up with Dartzeel Audio, Grimm Audio, Evolution Acoustics, and more to create absolutely Heavenly experiences for attendees and press who were buzzing about them. Were you in this room? AV RoomService and Norman Varney in deep conversation with an attendee who inquired at his booth in T.H.E. Marketplace at T.H.E. Show SoCal 2024. Love to walk the show floor and see our exhibitors and attendees make such personal connections, especially when it comes to gaining knowledge from such respected experts as Norman!

A fantastic presentation by Team WiiM at T.H.E. Show SoCal 2024 this past June. Their WiiM Ultra made its US premiere with us and we were delighted about that! Now, who’s got a WiiM and which one do you have? We have it on good authority that a lot of our team have them and love them! Let us know in the comments.
