I don’t know how I’d decide on wedding color, if I did it all again. I love so many different weddings. I’d want one with bright pinks and soft yellows. But I’d also want a sage green, with black and white. Then there’s a classic black and white, with white florals and lots of candles. I seriously love it all.

So many weddings this year are options for fun and colors. I don’t know how I’d decide.

Why are captions so hard? The reason I don’t post as much is because thinking about a sentence or a paragraph to place under a photo gives me anxiety half of the time. Either I’m drawing a blank or I’m overthinking it. Even now, I’m pondering “is this what I want to write?”

Anyone else? Also please give me tips if you’re good at this. I’ll take all the pointers I can get.

Wedding day tip…. Have your invitation, some florals, rings, ribbon, and other personal details tucked away for your photographer. I love seeing perfume bottles, earrings, family heirlooms and ring boxes in these detail photos. Get creative!

We’re putting some color back on the feed!

This shoot was done in late September at , an upcoming venue in Issaquah. We hoped for sunshine, but it poured rain this day, between the rain captured the most stunning photos!

The venue will have the capacity to host special events of 150 and under and will take on a limited amount of Spring and Summer weddings, in 2025. Soon I’ll be able to share lots more details. In the meantime feel free to follow the venue’s page for announcements.

This year has been filled with extreme highs and extreme lows. From losing my dad, learning incredibly hard business lessons, to celebrating love and life and over again. I don’t have any new year resolutions, per se, but what I do have is the growth that 2023 offered me, to bring into 2024.

One of my most favorite parts of weddings is being able to witness the community of people that show up for the bide and groom. The love in the room is almost tangible. The heartfelt emotion that’s evoked during speeches that bring tears to my eyes, is my most favorite part of the day. I love hearing the stories and getting a more personal view of the couple and their stories.
