Did you know that a cookie table is a wedding tradition where in addition to a wedding cake, a large table with different cookies is presented to guests at the wedding reception.

This Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Youngstown, Ohio tradition has family members baking dozens of cookies to contribute to the cookie table.

Cookie tables are found at Italian, Polish, Greek, Slovak, Serbian Orthodox, Austrian, Hungarian, and Scandinavian wedding receptions.

The world record for the largest cookie table was set on August 11, 2019 in Monongahela, Pennsylvania with 88,425 cookies!!

Champagne toast or not?🥂
Many of our couples will either have us pre-pour champagne for all their guests prior to the toasts or eliminate it entirely in favor of toasting with whatever is already on hand. 🍾
While we love the look and tradition of a champagne toast, the more economical option is to eliminate it as most guests tend not to drink it and we end up disposing of more bubbly than what actually gets consumed.🥂🍾
