On Wednesday, September 27, more than 1,000 community leaders in business, sports, entertainment, government, and philanthropy united to honour outstanding heroes who invested their time and talents to protect, educate and empower children and youth in Canada and around the world.

🏅Corporate Hero: Tony Staffieri, CEO, Rogers Communications

🏅Athlete Hero: Diana Matheson, Former Canadian Soccer player, 2x Olympic Bronze Medalist & co-founder of Project 8 Sports

🏅Youth Hero: Lola Monague, Right to Play Youth Leadership Program, Beausoleil Island, Ontario

Hosted by primetime host of Sportsnet Central, Evanka Osmak, with special guest auction host Olympic Gold Medalist and host of The Amazing Race Canada, Jon Montgomery, the event raised over $2 million.

In addition, other highlights of the evening included special performances by Chubby Cree, Ballet Creole, , Young Tribe as well as a special spoken word performance led by Ontario’s first poet laureate .

The event brought together corporate partners to raise funds for over 500 charities, helping more than 2 million youth each year across Canada.

The fun pack day included lots of fun contests and activities and the opportunity for golfers to learn more about the incredible work of the Foundation.

TELUS Friendly Future Foundation is a Canadian registered charity that believes all youth, regardless of circumstance, deserve an equal opportunity to reach their full potential. In 2022, the foundation provided more than $10.6 million in grants to 548 charitable programs in the country.

Thank you Shanan Spencer-Brown, CFRE, Jodi Baxter and Louisa Niedermann for trusting us with this important initiative.

We were proud to collaborate with the Toronto Foundation in hosting a memorable and culturally rich Host Event for the Community Foundations of Canada Conference! 🎊

The event kicked off with a parade that featured multicultural entertainment including Steelpan Drummers, Chinese Lion Dance, Bollywood Dancers, Carnival Dancers, Drag Queens, Scottish Dancers and Bag Piper, and Indigenous Drummers 🥁

At the end of the parade, the guests enjoyed a food festival featuring a variety of cuisine including Jamaican, Indian, Asian, African, Latin American, and Indigenous cuisine. 🥡

There were also fun activities for the guests to enjoy throughout the evening including a playground with foosball and ping pong tables and photo opp mural wall, created by one of Toronto Foundation’s partners Sketch. 📸.

Tonight, Saturday, May 13, 2023, we had an opportunity to collaborate with the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre and produce the show for the 11th Annual Sakura Gala!

This high-profile event brings together government, business, and community leaders including the Ambassador of Japan to Canada, and executives from both Japanese and Canadian companies.

Tonight’s gala pays tribute to 3 generations of Japanese Canadians and Sakura Award Honourees – Bill Hatanaka for his CFL career and Grey Cup record with the Ottawa Roughriders, Vicky Sunohara, a three-time Olympic medalist and multiple World Hockey Championships and Nick Suzuki, the current captain of the Montreal Canadiens.

A special keynote presentation was made by Sports Broadcaster Paul Jones, voice of NBA’s Toronto Raptors on FAN 590 radio.

Projection mapping is used to turn objects, often irregularly shaped, into display surfaces for video projection. From walls and ceilings to buildings, textured surfaces, and objects, projection mapping can create an immersive cinematic experience for your guests. ✨ According to business.com, the costs of projection mapping tend to vary, with average cost at $10,000 per minute. Factors depend on the size of the projection space and the quality and features of the media content.
