Joyful Beginnings
My son and I were standing in line for face painting at a local festival. I watched one of the artists practice brush strokes on her arm. I was fascinated with how she swirled her brush and blended the colors. That small moment changed the direction of my life.
In the past, I have tried many different artistic mediums but never in my wildest dreams did I think facepainting would be so much fun that I would start a business and make a career of it!
In the weeks after the festival, I practiced, I purchased professional equipment , I practiced, I learned the industry, I practiced...
After a month and a half, which felt like overnight, I booked my very first professional gig and took my place in the children's entertainment industry. I am still completely amazed that this is my new life.
