Gambino's new album dropped (though since then you've just had 'Redbone' on repeat). Or maybe it was 2005. The concept behind Mee Pyat - literally 'power cut' in Burmese - is simple: we plunge the audience into darkness and listen to a record we love in its entirety. All genres are permitted, the only requirement is that the album is solid from beginning to end. Every month we'll have someone new presenting an album they think is perfect. Mee Pyat will happen at the The Rough Cut bar in Sanchaung on the last Sunday of every month.
