What an absolutely massive success Daytona’s first Emo Night Karaoke was!! We had 200 people come out and support at this amazing event! Half-Moon Havoc was one for the books; if you missed out we feel BAD for you. From the pre-show wrestling to the post-show Waffle House hangs, this was one of the most cathartic and inspiring nights I’ve personally had in a while, and that’s not even factoring in how proud I am to have helped work on this event. The energy in the air last night was palpable. A sincere thanks to Boomer of CanVas for letting us throw another show here- hopefully it’s far from the last. Massive thanks as well to Hawt and Popular Zine / The Big Problem Zine for their involvement, promotion and amazing passion towards this music scene.
