Thank you to everyone who attended our Bristol and Gloucester Vegan Christmas Markets this year, follow us for more events and new locations next year. I am viewing venues today and have an exciting announcement coming soon for 2025!

Thank you to everyone who donated on the day at Gloucester and Bristol Vegan Christmas Markets. I sent your donations plus my donation of 10% of the profits to the QE Patient Fund today, the just giving page is still open for donations until the end of the week it's currently at £413 of the £500 target https://www.justgiving.com/page/veganxmasmarket

I also gave free charity stalls at both events as usual, Dean Farm Trust raised £500 at Bristol which their volunteers were thrilled with!

My running total for charity donations from the markets since 2017 is now over £10,000!

Santa has received all of the letters posted last weekend and the weekend before and has added all of your requests to his list! Special mention to Esme and Poppy Joyce who didn't ask for anything and sent lovely letters. He also said thank you for the gifts to santa and the elves these have been hung on the tree in the workshop 💚🎄

We will be having a rebrand ahead of next year's events, you will see the name of this page change soon - we will go from having separate Vegan Events Gloucestershire and Vegan Events Bristol pages to just having one for both events....and potentially new events!💚

Bristol Vegan Christmas Market has won best vegan market in the UK 💚 Being nominated was amazing enough, I'm speechless and so touched that anyone would think my little market is the best 😭 thank you so much to everyone who voted!

Bristol Vegan Christmas Market 2024 will be going ahead tomorrow as its all indoors 💚 we have moved the hot food traders inside and will only have one entrance operating from Elmgrove Road as we can't set up gazebos on the other entrance.

We will be back next year if you miss this one though so please don't travel if it's unsafe 😊

🎄50+ mostly indoor stalls of all vegan and cruelty free shopping, food, drinks and gifts. Get your Christmas shopping done and also enjoy some yummy vegan food and drink.

⏰10am to 3pm Sunday 1st December

🎟Entry - £3 entry on the door, under 16s go free with an adult. We can take card payments on the door.

🐕Dogs are welcome! Please note though that it can be a busy event and may not be suitable for nervous dogs.

🎅Free kids crafts and letters to santa!

🏰Venue - The venue is accessible with wheelchair lifts to all floors. The full address is Gloucester Blackfriars Via Sacra, Ladybellegate Street, Gloucester, Gloucestershire GL1 2HN

💚You will be able to leave and then re enter, but will need to queue again.

💳Some vendors will take cards but some will only take cash, especially charity stalls. We also encourage you to bring your own shopping bags.

🚗Parking - There are lots of pay and display options nearby as the venue is in the city centre. The nearest car parks are Ladybellegate Street car park and on road parking and the multi storey car park nearby on Longsmith Street. Otherwise there is plenty of parking in the docks or the quays shopping centre multi storey.

🚂Transport links - Gloucester train station and bus station are within walking distance of the venue.

🎁Stalls - We have hired the entire building and will have stalls throughout, please explore! We will have stalls in the North Range, East Range and Scriptorium and hot foods in the garden!

We will be fundraising this year for a very special cause at both Gloucester and Bristol. The Bristol event was my partner Ryan's idea, he was always so encouraging of me and this business. He was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in April 2023, and after a year of incredibly hard treatment, he passed away in April this year at only 31 years old. Ryan was a loving father, a kind and thoughtful partner, and a wonderful son, brother, grandson, and friend. The Bristol Vegan Christmas Market only exists because of his kindness and support, and it will always be dedicated to him.

We will be fundraising for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham charity University Hospitals Birmingham Charity to help anyone going through the same.

We will have donation pots on the day, please donate what you can and please help to spread awareness. Sarcoma is one of the rarest cancers, they are often initially misdiagnosed or left untreated because they form in soft tissue in areas not associated with cancer and affect younger people. Ryan's only symptom was a lump on his leg which was initially misdiagnosed as a torn hamstring.
