Whole Damn Family Productions was started sometime in 2016 after years of concert going, playing, and work in the music industry. After spending a ton of time going to see shows and learning from some extremely savvy and passionate promoters and talent buyers, the pair decided it was time to take some of the knowledge they had gained and put together some shows in the manner they wanted to see sho
ws. Our goal is simply that: to put together shows that we would want to be at. To put passionate and hardworking talents in the music world in front of fans who will truly appreciate and support what they do, and to create an environment that can be enjoyable for both fans and artists alike. However, what that truly means for us, to be able to continue to do these kinds of shows, is that you have to do things the right way. Too many times are artists taken advantage of, or unable to continue due to lack of support. That's why the community aspect is so important to us. We want artists to want to come back to do shows, and be comfortable and even excited when they get on stage. That energy creates a better show for the audience, which creates a better environment for everyone involved as more people become involved in what's going on. In it's inception, Whole Damn Family Productions was focused on maintaining and re-energizing the long tradition of talented and passionate performances at Last Concert Cafe, by everything from legends to fresh locals, from Houston and from all over the country. The Last Concert Cafe is not only near and dear to our hearts, but crucial to our inception and development. But as it grew, we saw the potential of the community forming. Houston is flourishing with it's own rich and vibrant musical talent, and all over the country there are musicians with so much talent, they just need people to see it. This is what we want to facilitate. More people seeing more music means more fun. For all of us.
