The rising Melbourne artist Pretty Girl is back with her second EP, coming out April 14th which will be released on Mall Grab’s Steel City Dance Discs Label.

Named ‘One Night, One Time’ the EP will span over 7 tracks, consisting of a blend of Electronica, House, UKG & Techno, with Pretty Girl’s vocals playing a prominent part throughout the EP.

Following-up the release of ‘Middle Ground’ last year, the latest addtition to the collection was inpsired from a post covid lockdown, ‘giving new experiences, new heartbreaks, new perspective, new energy and new challenges.’

New Laurent Garnier music is on its way!

This May, Garner is back with his first solo LP since 2015 when he released La Home Box.

The release has been inspired by a ‘culmination of two years living in an era of doubt and uncertainty’ which can be felt in the techno, hip-hop, punk & drum and bass inspired tracks, with a fitting ‘tribute to the dance floor’

Garnier, who is 57, has also announced he'll be stepping back from touring at the end of 2024 to avoid becoming "a dusty, old jukebox."

He added: "Although I might start visiting some countries, cities and festivals for the very last time sometime soon, I would like to make things clear: I will remain a DJ for the rest of my life, because being a DJ is, above all, a visceral need for me to share the music I love, no matter what, in one way or another.

Lille had opened its latest venue Slalom, occupying the space formerly held by Magazine Club 🇫🇷

Opening this weekend, on the 18th of March the 800-capacity venue will open its doors after being shut after 11 years of running.

Slalom will host a variety of events from concerts to cultural events through to club nights.

Early bookings will include Mall Grab, KI/KI & Jennifer Cardini to name a few!

Artist Spotlight - Peggy Gou

Peggy Gou is a South Korean DJ, producer, and fashion designer based in Berlin, Germany. She was born in Incheon, South Korea in 1991 and grew up in a family of music lovers. Peggy started playing classical piano at a young age and later became interested in electronic music after attending a music festival in Seoul.

Peggy Gou's music style is a mix of house, techno, and disco, with influences from her Korean heritage. Her tracks often feature catchy melodies, groovy basslines, and vocals in both English and Korean. Some of her most popular tracks include "It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)," "Starry Night," and "Han Pan."

In addition to her production work, Peggy is also an accomplished DJ who has played at major festivals and clubs around the world. She is known for her versatile and energetic sets, which often include a mix of her own tracks and other underground favorites.
