Violet’s Flowers has moved to Miami!!!
Hello everyone!!! After spending a year on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, Violet’s flowers has moved to Miami!! We enjoyed our time there so much, but decided that we had a little more work to do before we could live there permanently. We miss our friends/chosen family from there every single day! So far, I would say it was the best year of my life.... however, I am completely enjoying having running water every day, and all the modern conveniences of city life! The people, beaches, food and art are amazing here! It is starting to feel like home! I was having a conversation with a friend the other day, and I said that I don’t really feel like I have a home, but I meant that in the best way...that everywhere we live feels like home. What makes a home is not the walls, but the people you surround yourself with; the art you collect along the way; and how, if you keep an open mind, anywhere you stop for a little while can be home. Each place teaches you things....things about yourself and things about the culture. Miami is such a lovely mix of people from all over the world...all with stories to tell, food to share and dreams...we all have dreams!! Miami, thank you for having us! We are so excited to be here, and to call you home!!
