Cotton State Photography & Videography We are an award winning photography team who LOVE photographing weddings, elopements, and couples! I'm Laura! I work together with my husband, Justin.

Serendipity, or fate?
How amazing is it, that this lovely bride needed to find another photographer (after her previously booked one could not, for personal/health reasons) and I happened to have her wedding on 1 of the ONLY 2 December dates we had left... AND her bridesmaid (I didn't know this at the time) was our very own beautiful and sweet TAYLIE whose engagement photos we just did!

I edit with consistency so my couples know what they'll get when they book us. BUT I can edit your photos however you want. It's YOUR wedding, just ask! <3

I've been working on a wedding video for 4 solid hours today, after several other days edits and audio linking, but want to throw this out there - we are SO happy to get tagged on posts recommending us! Sometimes we don't respond, here's why: *Sometimes* when I click on the notification, I can't see it. I can see that "person A" or "business B" tagged me in a comment/post, but nothing more than that. It's usually because my page isn't in the group, however, this is not always the case. I can't discern why this happens, BUT we are BEYOND appreciative to anyone who recommends us, even if we don't "respond" we love you so much!!! Thank you!!! I specifically would like to note DJ Modernaire - Denard Jones who has recommended us without fail, and is a a blast to work with, laid back, and keeps the dance floor rockin! My name is Laura. I’m the owner and lead photographer here at Cotton State Photography! I work together with my husband, Justin, who is my assistant and 2nd shooter.

We are based in Alabama, but we can travel just about anywhere! We are currently offering weddings and elopements throughout the South - but we LOVE traveling and seeing new places, so give us a shout if you want us to shoot your wedding somewhere else!
