On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everyone for your love and support during the passing of my mother BEVERLY EVELYN BATTLE. This is truly the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life but my support system has been tremendous. We appreciate every card, phone call, home visit, flower, gift, donation, hug, encouraging word and prayer. Thank you to everyone vendor that participated in the Gospel Requiem homecoming celebration, all who attended and viewed it online. It can still be viewed on the church page. It is well with my soul, Mom is resting in the arms of Jesus and walking the streets of gold. I will miss you mom… speak to me in my dreams. Her last grand affair… an event fit for my queen.

We will be reopening Events by J. Avery today. Thank you to EVERY client for your patience and all of our clients that supported us. It was heartwarming to see you at the celebration. Love you all!!! …. J. Avery

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Photographer perfectly captured every emotion Derrick felt at his 50th birthday celebration. He came in dancing and laughing. As the night progressed he was filled with so much emotion as his wife Jeannie surprised him with a video of celebrity tributes, a marine sword salute with medal presentation, cold sparkler birthday cake cutting and a special performance from celebrity artist Chante Moore. As Derrick walked into the hallway, he realized the entire was filled with words that described him and he was in amazement. This night was epic!!! .

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Photogrpaher perfectly captured every emotion expressed by Derrick at his 50th birthday celebration at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. As the night progressed it went from dancing and laughing to tears of joy, amazement and shock as each surprise was unveiled. The next few posts we will be highlighting this epic night. We had the honor to plan the launch event for” FLAVORTURE”. Chef Mac and Pinky merged their catering companies together and hosted A NIGHT OF FLAVOR. The 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings told a full story and their passion was shown on each plate.

Love endures all things. During the planning of Gordon and Dr. Amanda’s wedding planning, it was cancelled due to Covid. Rescheduled the wedding twice, had to change venues twice, they relocated, planned long distance and had to return for their Big day!!! Nothing stopped this beautiful couple from tying the knot. Wishing the klaiber’s a lifetime of love and happiness.
