A multifaceted and innovative artist in Metro Detroit’s q***r scene, ANTI is a frequent presence in q***r Detroit nightlife. The Five15 house cast member has quickly been able to establish themselves amongst some of the city’s most established performers with their polished, dark and innovative approach to drag artistry.
Through their music and performance art, ANTI is Influenced by the dark and the deviant. Their work embodies an amalgamation of the glamorous and the macabre with an appreciation for the sensual and the provocative. Their work is defined by their fascination with androgyny and a passion for versatility.
ANTI’s work is just as brooding as it is moving. The Flight Patterns drummer and DJ draws inspiration from the droning and mechanical, and frankly, the stupid and spontaneous. Their work is informed by a love and respect for both the talent of their contemporaries, and the work of those that have created and cultivated our q***r spaces. ANTI is a force, embodying influences from different worlds to cultivate a unique perspective that finds itself right at home in the city of Detroit.
