It’s been a minute or two since I’ve popped in to say “hello!” I’m Taylor, the owner & lead planner behind Ivory Couture.

Here are a few fun facts to get to know me a little better:

• When I’m not busy executing weddings, I’m dreaming about my next adventure. I LOVE connecting with our couples on a shared love of travel!

• I just recently rang in a new decade (hello 30✨) in Mallorca, Spain!

• I live for the moment our couples get to see their day come together. The moment they can finally take a deep breath and realize ‘it’s happening!’

• While Ivory Couture is *officially* FIVE years old, I’ve had my hand in weddings for over 8-years

• I whole-heartedly believe every day is meant to be celebrated, so go ahead, drink the champagne 😉

Have you ever wondered what to include in your ‘details box?’ Below are a few items to consider packing to ensure your photographer has what they need to get stunning detail shots!

✨ Save this one for later! ✨

• Any wedding stationery (save the dates, fresh invitation suite, program, etc.)
• Rings & any ring boxes
• Wedding day perfume
• Both partner’s shoes
• Vow books
• Earrings & other jewelry
• Heirlooms or sentimental items
• Make sure to ask your florist about adding loose florals!

Make sure to have all of these items packed in a box to pass off to your planner. We’ll make sure your photographer has these items when they arrive!

No matter the goal investment or scale of the event couples are imagining, there’s a large and overwhelming mystery surrounding what things actually cost and how to bring their day together (read: where in the heck do we start?!).

Our recommendation? Hire your wedding planner as early as possible!

Sure, maybe it *seems* like a good idea to sort out a few details on your own before making such a big commitment, however, your planner will make sure each building block sets you up for success in the long run.

Whether you’re set on a full planning experience, or you need someone to pull together the details in the final months, a great wedding planner will have resources and tips to help guide your journey from the start.

All of the reception details came together to create a gorgeous, yet welcoming setting for O + N to share their first meal together as newlyweds, surrounded by their family & friends.

The vision for this design was to brighten the space through hues of blush and soft pink, all while playing off the moody tones already present in the . It was important to the couple to celebrate in a space that represented their relationship living in the OTR neighborhood, all while bringing in touches of the spring season.

The energy of the room was lively, filled with love and connection, as guests came together to experience Cincinnati and celebrate the newlyweds! ✨

In case you’ve missed it, we’ve been highlighting Cincinnati venues the Ivory Couture team loves. Today, we’re showcasing Peterloon Estate.

Nestled in Cincinnati’s Indian Hill neighborhood is one of our favorite venues – Peterloon Estate. Our team has a soft spot for tented weddings and this historic property does not disappoint. The historic house on property gives an old world feel that transcends to create an already unique event.

You can exchange vows in the garden, then invite guests to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres on the terrace. Your reception will take place under the grand tent, fitted for the wedding design of your dreams.
