Hot Shot Bakery n' Cafe offers many freshly baked items (cakes, brownies, pastries, etc.), grilled paninis, wraps, signature sandwiches, and soups. Catering is available for any event. Located steps from beautiful Flagler College in historic downtown St. Augustine.

Our Artisan of the month is Linda M. Brandt. Linda has earned the Mom’s Choice Award for her series of books on Henry the little Tulip Bulb. Linda is excited to have a play of “Grumble, Bumble & Rumble” at the St Augustine Waterworks in March 2025. Linda is an award winning artist/illustrator as well as an artist. While in high school Linda won three gold key awards and the Grumbacher award for art. By the age of nineteen she started a career of being a political cartoonist and was commissioned to create President Ronald Reagan’s portrait. Linda’s book series on Henry carries a message of “attitude of gratitude”. We have all the books in the series autographed and available in our gift shop. Our Gift Shop and Historic Museum are open Wednesday through Saturday 12-4.30. Located in the corner of Treasury and St George St.

Our Story

Luvin’ Oven Catering started in St. Augustine in 1987. In 2009, we opened Hot Shot Bakery & Cafe and had the privilege of serving customers in downtown St. Augustine. After many years, we closed our sandwich shop and returned to our roots and are offering custom catering, corporate catering, custom specialty cakes and event food. We have also realized one of our dreams and that is acquiring and operating Luvin’ O-Van Food Truck for outdoor events, special events, weddings, celebrations and catering.
