In October, I believe there is a Town Hall backed Exhibition at the Auditorium.
I have been asked by a number of people if I’m involved.
This has nothing to do with Expo Torrevieja that was started by Keith, Kjetil and Alexander plus Rock Against Cancer and the N332.
The new expo is called
Expo Experience Torrevieja.
Expo Torrevieja plans to return with new Expos in 2025.
I wish anyone taking part in this October event all the very best. I wish them lots of success.
However, it has nothing to do with Expo Torrevieja.

Keanu Reeves is a True Dogs Lover 🥰🥰
This is Matrix movie star Keanu Reeves. His father abandoned him at 3 years old and grew up with 3 different stepfathers. He is dyslexic. His dream of becoming a hockey player was shattered by a serious accident. His daughter died at birth. His wife died in a car accident. His best friend, River Phoenix, died of an overdose. His sister battled leukemia.
No bodyguards, no luxury houses. Keanu lives in an ordinary apartment likes wandering around town and is often seen riding a subway in NYC.
When filming the movie "The Lake House," he overheard a conversation between two costume assistants, one crying as he would lose his house if he did not pay $20,000 - On the same day, Keanu deposited the necessary amount in his bank account. In his career, he has donated large sums to hospitals including $75 million of his earnings from “The Matrix” to charities.
In 2010, on his birthday, Keanu walked into a bakery & bought a brioche with a single candle, ate it in front of the bakery, and offered coffee to people who stopped to talk to him.
In 1997 some paparazzi found him walking one morning in the company of a homeless man in Los Angeles, listening to him and sharing his life for a few hours.
Sometimes the ones most broken from the inside are the ones most willing to help others.
This man could buy everything, and instead every day he gets up and chooses one thing that cannot be bought.

In March 2017, Kjetil RIP, Arturo and I put on the first International Lifestyle show since the days of the original expo in the region, This Is Spain.
After seven successful editions, we are planning on organising Expo Torrevieja VIII for this autumn. However, at this moment in time the International Auditorium is unavailable. Thus we are seeking a new venue, or venues, for Expo Torrevieja VIII, but we hope to return to the fabulous International Auditorium in the future.
I was under the impression that the Town Hall were thinking of putting on an event in October, but I was incorrect, and thus I apologise for any confusion.
We are looking forward to collaborating with the Town Hall in future projects, especially as I will be heavily promoting the City through a segment on UK TV on Channel 5, Bargain Brits in the Sun, so I hope to promote Expo Torrevieja and Torrevieja in the program.
We shall update you as soon as possible.
The Expo Torrevieja website will be relaunched soon too,

Expo Torrevieja is still on hold...
It's been a difficult time at Expo Torrevieja. Sadly my two partners have recently passed. Alexander lost his fight against Cancer and Kjetil passed away just as the Covid restrictions were coming to an End.
Since last October 2021, I have been trying to book dates for our next Expo Torrevieja.
Despite a dozen or more meetings and a new management in place for the Auditorium, I'm still waiting to hear back from them about availability and pricing, terms and conditions, etc, as this is a new company and they will have their own way of doing things.
I remain positive that we will have our next Expo Torrevieja in April or May 2023. It would be a great shame if such a wonderfully well-supported event should have to move to another location.
As soon as I hear some news, I shall be posting updates on line and in the local, printed press.
Take Five, one of the British Isles and Europe's few custom-designed digital magazines, is getting ready to relaunch, after an on-and-off period during the pandemic. ROCK AGAINST CANCER working together with our local small businesses...
Live music events.
Because of the current situation is looking very unlikely, yet again we can’t hold the Festival planned at Eras de Sal this September 2021. We will be holding smaller events before the end of this year in collaboration with local bars/restaurants complying with the regulations demanded by the sanitary authorities.
It would be great if we could let our hair down and escape from the monotony that we’ve become used to. An ideal chance of bringing old and new friends together to enjoy a few hours of live music, also with the aim of raising money for the cause.

"LA ILLETA DELS BANYETS" OF EL CAMPELLO!...A FASCINATING HISTORICAL SITE TO VISIT ON THE COSTA BLANCA!...
La Illeta dels Banyets is one of the oldest excavated archaeological sites of Alicante. It is located in the town of El Campello, about 9km from the city of Alicante. It is an old peninsula that was separated from the coast by an earthquake. In 1943 it was reattached to the ground to form a natural breakwater, and has become a historical place of interest.
To visit and find out more about La Illeta dels Banyets, there are guided tours (organized by the Alicante Archaeological Museum) until the end of April from Tuesday to Sunday at 12pm. The tour duration is about an hour and costs 1.50€.
As places are limited to 10 people, it is necessary to book by calling 965 149 000, and you can request to take the tour in English.
