Come Party with me, New Year's Eve!

I've been working on this series all year and now it's time to show it off, in the midst of this huge party with live music and so much more…

I’ll be doing an Art Slideshow & Tell, talking about the stories behind my recent Body Acceptance bodypaint* series and showing never-seen-before photos of bodypaint art on the giant movie screen! Some of my collaborators will chime in, and there will be a Q & A. (I think this will be at 8:30 pm)

I'm in a mini-documentary, "The Artists Behind the Beauty," in conversation with DaJohn Dewitt (model/fashion show producer)

There will be a Fabulous Fashion Show later in the evening, and I am planning to embellish some of the models with some paint for that! Designer Mary Kuznetsova

AND There will be other fun things concurrently in the other rooms, including dancing to live music by SamBaDa and a big Salsa band– Familia de la Calle; there will be Cirque performers, some mellower music, and a Sound Healing Meditation, various musicians and spoken work artists— in the 3 different spaces there will be something for everyone!

Ages 16 and up. The 418 Project is now next to Trader Joe's downtown Santa Cruz, in the old movie theater. They've added dance floors, lights, and good vibes.
