I cannot even say enough sweet, wonderful things about this wedding. Shiela and Lee had a small family affair with all of their closest loved ones and when I say it was a highlight of my year- I absolutely mean it. It was so beautiful to see these lovely people join their families together in such an intimate setting, and it made me so thankful this is the kind of “work” I get to do.

Please hire me to capture these kinds of memories for you. Getting to be a part of such a meaningful step in peoples’ lives is something I don’t take for granted and will always be so grateful for. And to everyone that has worked with me- I love you guys! Thank you for allowing me to do this wonderful thing ❤️

Kids, man. They just being an energy to celebrations unlike anyone else. Plus they are always down for a fun shot. Or jumping off of something. Or rolling down a hill. Or just general chaos😂 it’s so great and I love finding ways to incorporate that excitement into photos!

Hey friends!

I am looking for some referrals for weddings, family sessions, senior sessions, etc. I am trying to get some bookings on the calendar for 2025 and to fill out the rest of 2024. If you know someone needing photos at all - real estate, pet photos, mini sessions- I am offering all of my sessions that come to me via a referral a $50 discount. Weddings will have a percentage discount based on the type of package.

AND!!! I am also going to do a $100 gift card giveaway to everyone that refers someone to me! If the new client mentions they were referred by someone, I will enter their name into a drawing for the gift card!

One of the best things about being a photographer is getting to reconnect with people I used to work with! Lauren was one of my coworkers when I worked at the cinema. We haven;t seen each other in years, but when she reached out about family portraits I was so excited! A few highlights of this beautiful session:

- Mr. & Mrs. DeWitt had that fire 🔥 and dang did they light up these photos!
- Lauren's sister, her husband, and their baby were here all the way from IRELAND!! 🇮🇪
- There were dogs. Super cute, happy dogs!
- There was so much love evident in every single photo. 🩷
- Did I mention there were dogs?? 🐶

I had the pleasure of capturing Johnathan's surprise proposal to Brooke last weekend! We did some photos after their sweet engagement became official, and I have to say, I think Mission Point really showed out for them! It was such a beautiful day. And also, LOOK AT THAT RING! These two have STYLE and I am in love with these photos! (Again, sorry for the yucky social media cropping!)

I abhor the Instagram/Facebook required crop, but even though these are not in their original aspect ratios, I mean, COME ON! Look at Emma's gorgeous face! She absolutely nailed these senior portraits! Talk about aesthetic- this girl made every frame look effortless.

When you have one of the coolest hobbies ever (IMO), why not make it part of your wedding? Not only did Nathan and Madison used board games to really personalize their session, but they are also using these board games for their wedding reception tables!! So freakin cool. I am always excited when couples bring something they love into their engagement session. And how cute are the little bride and groom figurines?? (ALSO- I learned this from Madison and Nathan: those little figurines are called MEEPLES!! I could cry from how cute haha!)

Arianna and Kyle decided to elope in March and we had a blast with their photos! It was a pretty rainy day, but that didn't stop us! I love it when couples trust me to capture their personalities and showcase the fun they have together. Here's to Arianna & Kyle- the new Mr. & Mrs. Ochsenrider!

I love seeing all of the posts about wedding season kicking off! Mine started in January with Bri & Matt’s sweet winter celebration. They prioritized the things that made them happy and those are always the best weddings! Plus I got to meet Rebekah was amazing to work with and made the entire day flow so smoothly.

Listen- when there’s a classic car AND it’s pink? You take all the damn photos 😂😂

This car was a feature of a crazy cool quinceañera we shot this past Saturday. Sneak peeks of that coming soon, but in the meantime feast your eyes on this bubblegum pink beauty!! (And check out my lil sis trying her hand at photography as my assistant for the day! She rocked it!)

Hey everyone,

I have not been able to access my Two Birds Media Instagram for about a week now, and I have submitted all manner of reports repeatedly every single day to no avail. Unfortunately I think I am going to lose that account, so if there is anyone out there that can help me I would really appreciate it! In the meantime, please check out my Facebook for all updates and posts, and I will let everyone know if I start a new Instagram or not.

Also, PSA to all small businesses out there: Do not rely on social media as your only form of lead gathering. It is much too fickle and the stupidest things can lead to losing an account. I was literally trying to set up two factor authentication with mine and some bug in their system forced me to change my password, but then when I tried to log back in it required me to provide the code that I don't have because I never actually set up the two factor system! So please, do yourselves a favor and network, go to events and trade shows, talk to other businesses and trade recommendations when one of you is busy or can't offer a service- do NOT give all of your energy to social media! It is simply not worth it and far too unreliable!

HELP NEEDED!!!
Hey everyone! So, I was trying to set up two-factor authentication on my Two Birds Instagram page and something went wrong. Now I am unable to log in to that Instagram at all, and I have been totally unable to contact Meta support to get this resolved as it is clearly an issue on their end, not something I did. Does anyone have a phone number to a support line or something? I have tried emailing Instagram support, chatting with someone, submitting reports, and I'm getting nothing in the way of a resolution. If anyone has insight I would appreciate it!!
