Good Afternoon all

We’re looking forward to seeing those of you who have entered the Santa Run tomorrow, along with any supporters coming along to cheer you out and back.

Can I please remind you bring raffle prizes if you can and buy tickets at registration if you have spare cash.

Unfortunately we have lost several of our helpers including the entire kitchen team! A combination of viruses, family and hospital visits has left us short on helping hands. We do have plenty of food but you may need to be patient and be prepared to muck in after the run to help us out. Please be patient if things don’t run quite to plan. We will do our absolute best to make the morning run as smoothly as possible!

Best Xmas jumpers and hats please. The cheesy Santa tunes await.

For those of you signed up for the Great Hale Santa Run, here's the timetable [may vary a little on the day!]

9am 10km Registration opens at Hale Magna Village Hall. [Registration for the village run/walk will stay open after 10am.]

Please read and sign the event disclaimer and collect a wrist band and Santa hat.

9am - 10am Drop off any raffle prizes and buy raffle tickets

9.45am - Event Brief

Run around a bit and limber up.

10am - 10km Start
As we have a bigger field this year we will set you off in small groups a minute apart. If you anticipate being speedy 45min-50min then please start in the last group. If you plan to walk please let me know so you can set off ahead of the stampede.

Christmas apparel desired but not compulsory during the event!

10.45/11am Village walk/run start
This year we will start the village run once the first 10km runners pass the village hall to start the final lap of the village.

11am - 1pm Food and drinks will be available for all runners/walkers. Please retain your wrist bands as these will be your ticket to eat.

The raffle will be drawn once most people are back in the hall.

Plans are coming together for our Slightly Boozy Santa Run on Dec 15th. Tickets have sold out via Eventbrite so, if you missed the boat, and still want to join in the fun please message me direct and we may be able to squeeze you in. This year we will be having sausage rolls kindly supplied by Corner Farm, home made soup and cake as well as water, prosecco and a selection of spirits. We still need offers of raffle prizes, bottles and cakes so please try and bring something with you on the day and some extra cash to buy tickets. Remember we’re fundraising and every penny counts.

Entries are starting to come in for our ever popular boozy Santa Run. Please be aware we have to limit numbers at the event so that we can manage the catering as efficiently as possible. Please don’t leave it too late to enter as we may fill up and won’t then be taking entries on the day.

We also need offers of gifts for the raffle so please comment or message if you are able to donate items. Likewise if you or family/friends can help with marshalling, catering, registering entrants please message. We can’t do it without your help!

Welcome to Slightly Boozy events, home of the Great Hale Slightly Boozy Santa Run! This years event will take place on Sunday December 15th and will, as in previous years, include a 10km run and a ‘round the village’ much shorter Santa Run (or walk) Details to follow but please like and follow the page to keep up to date and please do get entered!
