This past Saturday, scholarships were awarded to two deserving students, family of our beloved Cape Atlantic Marines. Unfortunately, I am recovering from surgery and was unable to attend for the first time as was all of my other busy family members. To say I am grateful to the Marine Corps family would be simply not enough. They have been loyal and so committed to continue honoring Daniel Ball, my beloved father's legacy for 8 years now. Thank you from my husband and I~~~who will never stop.

So excited to honor Devin McCarty this year! My mom's maiden name was McCarty! Nothing but great signs from heaven this year! Jonathan and I will continue to honor both of my parents with this scholarship fund as long as we are here. Dignity and respect always!

Thank you to the Cape Atlantic Marine Corps Scholarship Committee for choosing such excellent recipients. Tears came to my eyes when I heard both scholars were named Anna. My beloved Grandmother Anna, was dad's mother and the parent of two proud marines who both served in Vietnam. Such an honor and wonderful sign from above.

Happy Birthday Marine Corps! Daddy used to celebrate this day even before he'd think of his own birthday. He'd play the bugle and make us sing the Marine Corps Hymn. I hope my contribution to your legacy makes you proud and you see the effort and dignity Jon and I give you. Happy Birthday to your favorite family.
