Fiona and Graham were married at the lovely Orocco Pier - South Queensferry in my hame toon of South Queensferry under the watchful eye of their gorgeous wee dog, Rosie 🐕(other family members and friends also present!). Check out that view of the Forth Bridge 👀
With Fiona rocking the HELL out of her super-cute 50's inspired dress, you'd be forgiven for thinking she'd be cool, calm and collected before heading up the aisle.
Er...naw.
But that's okay, because A. LOADS of folk get nervous and B. I am an absolute ninja at last-minute nerve-calming. We had a wee chat and Fiona relaxed enough to get to her lovely Graham and really enjoy their wedding ceremony. Making sure people are relaxed enough to have fun and enjoy their wedding is such an important part of my job!
Fiona was kind enough to send me a wee message:
"Thank you for the wonderful service, it was absolutely beautiful and lots of our friends and family commented on how special and funny it was and it captured us both perfectly.
I don't think I've been so nervous before entering that door to come down the aisle! But you put me at ease once i arrived.
I absolutely loved it 😍 esp the tying of the knot with the ribbon, it felt so special."
You really couldn't be more welcome, Mrs Muir! I loved being your celebrant and am SO grateful that you chose me to conduct your wedding! 🥰
Wishing you both much love and happiness. Please give Rosie a scritch behind the lugs for me and tell her she is a very good girl!
