So good news is we have our winning dogs. How ever there is some unfortunate bad news as well. Due to an unforeseen health issue that has come up I can not currently operate my camera. I’m waiting for a consultation with a surgeon which should be sometime in August or September. Then looking at 2 months or so of recovery after surgery. That means it will only leave me with winter month options, so I will not be able to do the calendar this year. So looks like my plan will have to be put on hold till then. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience and bad timing, but hopefully the winners understand it’s out of my control. Winning dogs are below, please comment and let me know if you’re ok with waiting till next year for your photoshoot. I completely understand if not, and will pass your spot on to the next dog if so. Thanks

📸 Attention Dog Owners! 🐾 🐶
I'm creating a 2026 K9 Calendar in support of the Alliston & District Humane Society, and I'm on the lookout for some adorable dog models to feature in it! If you have (or know) a cute dog of any age/breed, share a photo in the comments below to enter. Rules:

*One entry photo per dog/owner please. 🐕
*Dogs must be located within 50km of Barrie.
*Make sure you like my photography page
to be eligible to enter, and follow for results! 📷

The Top 11 dogs with the most likes(👍🏻🤣❤️) at the end of June will win a free mini photo session, & will be featured in the 2026 K9 Calendar. Winners owners will receive professional photos from the session- free of charge!
I'm aiming for a mix of ages, breeds, & seasons. So a few winners will have their sessions in the fall or winter too! Tied dogs will be randomly drawn.
75% of all calendar proceeds will go directly to the Alliston & District Humane Society
- The remaining 25% will help cover some of the printing and production costs.
Let's celebrate our furry friends, and support a great local cause at the same time!

***If we get enough “bully” breed submissions, I’ll be doing a separate calendar with another set of 11 winners. Proceeds from that would go towards ending BSL in Ontario.

Here is a few of my favorites from a very cold -20c session. I had the pleasure of helping these two get some Christmas photos, and tried my best to be quick. They were great sports though, and let me do my thing with out complaining about the cold once!
