Hello, hello, hello, And welcome to "BLUNDERS into WONDERS Wednesday". Today's stories are all about things that look like mistakes at first, but ending up opening our eyes to amazing wonders. First up is "Gifts of the Magpie" by Sam Hudley. Next up, "I Talk Like a River" written by Jordan Scott with illustrations by Sydney Smith. Hello everyone! I hope everyone is just ducky today because our theme is "Waddle Waddle Wednesday". When I went to the library the other day to pick out my weekly supply of books, I ran across this amazing author/illustrator Olivier Dunrea. I was so taken by his illustrations and stories that I snatched up all the books I could find. I'll be starting with "Peedie", then following that up with "Ollie the stomper" and "Jasper & Joop a perfect pair: one tidy, one messy". Finally, I'll end with "Gideon" & "Gideon & Otto". Want more silliness? Waddle on over to my website www.sophie-world.com.

Howdy, everyone! It's time for Silly Willy Wednesday. In honor of the fact that our storytime is an hour and a half earlier than normal I thought it would be fun to do some just plain silly stories. I'll be starting with "on a count of the gum" written and illustrated by Adam Rex. Chase that with, "stop that pickle!" written by Peter Armour with illustrations by Andrew Shachat. Finally, I'll share "where is the green sheep" by Mem Fox and Judy Horacek. If there's time I'll sneak in "chicka-chicka boom boom" by Bill Martin Junior & John Archambault, illustrated by Lois Ehlert. Want more silliness? Head over to my website www.sophie-world.com.

I'll start with a carryover from last week's theme "We Love Leo Lionni" by reading his wordy story, "The Alphabet Tree". I'll follow this with "Chilly Milly Moo" by Fiona Ross. Then end with two short books by Lane Smith, "There is a Tribe of Kids" and "It's a Book".

Hey everyone it's We Love Leo Lionni Wednesday! Thanks to the re-opening of my local library, I was able to pick up a whole bunch of Leo Lionni books that I don't have in my personal collection! I'll start off with "Inch by Inch", follow that with "Six Crows", then "Tico and the Golden Wings" and finally (because his stories are relatively short) I'll end with "Matthew's Dream".
