A day filled with happy tears. From the very beginning their story wasn’t an easy one, but the journey was so worth it. Yuliia’s family escaped the occupation in Ukraine, they left their home and lives there because of the stupid war. But God prepared something for Yuliia instead - love. She met Jacob and everything else doesn’t matter anymore. Of course one can’t never forget all the nightmares of the war, it’s a true story of many Ukrainians nowadays. But love can help us heal. 🇺🇦

Welcome to the world, Dana and Sophia!

Our loyal clients Olena and Ostap, along with their son Mark, have some wonderful news: the birth of their twin girls! They were the ones who recommended us to one of our first wedding couples. We’ve had the privilege of capturing their journey—from dating to their wedding, pregnancy, and the christening of their first child. Now, we’re thrilled to welcome two more beautiful girls into their family.

Alex & Lena’s engagement shoot took place at their favorite hiking spot. We drove all the way to Milwaukee, and it was totally worth it! The location: Seven Bridges Trail. They reminded us how beautiful young love is. These kinds of shoots are always fun and relaxed. We turned it into a little date, leaving Lily with Grandma and enjoying the road trip. Can’t wait to shoot their wedding next August!

This summer was fruitful for The Kovalchuks Photography and The Kovalchuks family. We met many beautiful families, captured weddings, engagements, and birthdays, we worked on our new home, celebrated our daughter’s birthday and built our Associates team, we traveled, read books and watched movies, drove all day long, saw a shark and got bitten by mosquitoes, we welcomed a new niece and met childhood friends, we jumped into a pool, had dinners outside and ate ice cream, we rode bicycles, had a campfire and got soaked in the rain. If this wasn’t a good summer, you tell me what is.
