Our final show in August features the always amazing So Hideous, as they celebrate the vinyl reissue of their debut EP "I Balance a Daydream on the Edge of a Knife/To Clasp a Fallen Wish with Broken Fingers." Our next show at Gold Sounds is coming up quick, and features one of the most stacked skramz bills we're presenting this year! We're extremely excited to welcome Australia's Blind Girls back to Brooklyn for another headlining show! If you caught their set last year you already know they're not a band to miss, and this time they're coming over showcasing a fresh batch of scathingly intense emoviolence tunes from their new album that just dropped today! In direct support we've got Lancaster, PA screamo quartet We Were Skeletons - reuniting to play 1 of only 3 shows they've booked this summer! These guys haven't played NYC since I last booked them at ABC No Rio back in 2012, so this is a rare treat indeed! On tour alongside Blind Girls, we're happy to welcome back Michigan's Heavenly Blue - an awesome screamo septet who're touring in support of a fantastic debut album of their own! Further support provided by Philly post-hardcore/skramz powerhouse Kiande Amedha and the always phenomenal atmospheric skramz/post-hardcore collective Burial Dance from NJ! We're heading to a new venue in Brooklyn for our next skramz show: The Wood Shop, located right in between The Meadows and The Brooklyn Monarch at 17-B Meadow Street! And what better way to kick off Screamo Summer than in a new space with old friends, as we bring back Connecticut's own screamo/emo darlings Foxtails to headline a great bill for the first time this year! They'll be joined by the screamo/melodic hardcore sounds of Satón - on tour all the way from Mexico, local screamo/emo band Solace, who're kicking off a short run of their own in the northeast, and NJ's Good For Willow, who add a dash of math rock to their emo/screamo stylings! Should definitely be a fun one, and tickets are selling fast, so it's recommended you grab yours if you haven't already! Thursday, June 27th, ages 16+ with ID (under 16 must be accompanied by adult), 7pm doors! Advanced tickets available via the linktree in our bio - we'll seeya there!

Unfortunately, this Saturday's show at Gold Sounds has been postponed. Members of 2 of the bands came down with covid and were forced to drop. We're hoping to do this same bill at a later date and will announce that once it's all set. We're all bummed as we were really looking forward to this one - our only show for July. Please continue to support all the bands - especially Nine of Swords and their great new album (all the bands have stuff on Bandcamp you can pick up or listen to). Unfortunately, next week's show has been canceled, as Ether Coven and Gillian Carter have canceled their entire tour. We're hoping they can postpone it to a later date, but that has yet to be determined. If they can, we'll be sure to try our hardest to keep this amazing lineup intact. Advanced ticket buyers will receive refunds. Our next show is February 17th, with THIN, Herjaza, The Wind In The Trees, Kissies, and Unhinge. Stay healthy out there - we'll seeya next time!
