Rafael Silva Schacht (born May 9, 1987), known professionally as Rafa Silva, is a Chilean/German electronic producer, DJ, musician, songwriter and engineer. With a vast musical career that ranges from Rock, Punk-Rock to electronic projects of IDM, Rafa reinventes himself in the eclectic world of electronic dance music. Elegancy, thrill and pure versatility define the vision of techno that Rafa Silva puts forward. Carefully crafted by Berlin ́s finest Hannes Bieger (Joseph Capriati, Tale of Us, Stephan Bodzin, Adriatique, Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Patrice Bäumel, Ellen Allien) and Calyx Mastering, the quality of his productions makes him one of the most prolific acts of the "new Chilean gold generation”. With a relentless production schedule in 2018 (7 original tracks released on chilean label DNW Records), his artistic European debut (Zürich, Switzerland), the acclaimed livestream for Dj Mag in Buenos Aires and his recent appearance in the first Latin American version of Dreambeach Festival, places Rafa as one of the most promising Chilean bets for this 2019.
