Brutal Assault je glasbeni festival na prostem, poteka v stari vojaški trdnjavi Josefov v Jaromeru, na Češkem. Festival se je začel leta 1995. Četudi je začel kot majhen lokalen festival, vsako leto narašča, tako je postal eden večjih ekstremnih festivalov z pretežno metalsko glasbe v Srednji Evropi.

Brutal Assault is an extreme metal open-air music festival taking place in the 18th centu

ry army fortress Josefov in Jaroměř, Czech Republic. It takes place each August traditionally on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the beginning of the month. For many years it was a small show with mainly local Czech and Slovak bands performing. Growing each year, in the late 2000s it became the biggest extreme metal summer music festival in Central Europe. Brutal Assault operates a two stage system, with music on one concert stage starting within minutes after the end of performance on the other stage. Sometimes, a body modification group from Prague performs their "Hell Show" at Brutal Assault.
