Good read.

“Do not be afraid.”
It is the most repeated command in the Bible. This command only reveals the natural default of man when faced with threats. It also proves to be one of the oldest and most effective weapon the enemy uses against us.
𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘆.When a Christian is overwhelmed by fear and anxiety, his emotions and thoughts are clouded and controlled by the very fear itself.
Fear causes distress and irrationality, which in turn causes us to see things and act in the absence of faith. And we know that in faith’s absence, sin thrives.
That’s why one crucial thing to take note is that the phrase was given not as a suggestion but a command. It’s not in our own decision to fear or not. We are called not to fear! But God didn’t just leave us with a command too impossible to pursue. Instead, He left us His word as our sword to counter these kind of weapons formed against us. (Eph 6:17)
When we soak into God’s word and find ourselves immersed in His promises over our lives, the threats that causes our fears loosen their power! To say it again, we fear when we are threatened either by uncertainty or by entity bigger than us. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗱𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺.
The Bible is saturated with the promises of God. Here are some powerful promises God has given us to battle against fear.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵,
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. -John 5:24
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘆,
God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea. -Psalms 46:1‭-‬2

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲,
The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid. Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident. For he will conceal me there when troubles come; he will hide me in his sanctuary. He will place me out of reach on a high rock. -Psalms 27:1‭, ‬3‭, ‬5

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴,
In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. - 1 Peter 5:10

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸,
“So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. -Matthew 6:31‭-‬33

We figth fear best when we put our faith and hope in God's word. It is in our devotions, our worship and praise, and our Bible reading that we find spiritual arsenals that arms us against the flaming arrows of the evil one. (Eph 6:16)

"No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do."

"That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend.

"What are you doing?" asked Pooh.

"Nothing, really," said Piglet. "Only, I know what Difficult Days are like. I quite often don't feel like talking about it on my Difficult Days either.

"But goodness," continued Piglet, "Difficult Days are so much easier when you know you've got someone there for you. And I'll always be here for you, Pooh."

And as Pooh sat there, working through in his head his Difficult Day, while the solid, reliable Piglet sat next to him quietly, swinging his little legs...he thought that his best friend had never been more right."
