A huge thank you to everyone who braved the downpour to stop by the stand this past weekend! 🙏

We had a very limited amount of bouquets available and all of them were claimed! We also had a couple people send in money even though they couldn’t make it to the stand (thank you! 🤍).

All together we were able to raise a total of $300 for Hope for Freedom Society ()!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️

The farm stand is stocked! ✨

The frost has held off and while we will not be at the farmers market this weekend we do still have flowers blooming!

We’ve stocked the stand with $25 bouquets and 100% of the sales will be going to HOPE FOR FREEDOM SOCIETY, a local addictions recovery resource, in memory of my brother Mike who passed away 6 years ago this month after a long battle with addiction.

The stand will be restocked all weekend or until we run out of flowers! Thank you so much for your support! 🤍🤍🤍

Happy Thanksgiving!! 🍂🌾

As we get set up for our very LAST market of the year it is so easy to be grateful. Grateful for the abundance of flowers we’ve had this year, grateful for Saturday mornings hanging out with my mom and my girls at the market, and so very grateful for each and every one of you who continue to support our little flower farm! 🤍

We’re at the today from 9-2 with our special pumpkin arrangements, cut bouquets and a few mini arrangements! 🤍

Thank you so much for all your encouragement and support this year! We’ll see you again next year!! 🥰

We’re coming up to the end of our fresh flower season! 😭. The cooler weather has set in and the growth in the flower farm has slowed to a snails pace. 🐌 🍂

Today will be our last “regular” market with bouquets and arrangements in glass vases. Next week will feature our thanksgiving pumpkin arrangements! Woot woot! 🙌🌾

We know how popular these are and we’re going to do our best to bring as many as possible down to the next week! This may mean that there will not be flowers left over for bouquets!

So if you’re looking to grab a fresh flower bouquet before the season’s over make sure you stop by today! 🤍🤍🤍

My first installation! ☺️

On Thursday night I had the pleasure of getting together with a few other flower farmers and event florists to put together a table scape display in honour of . This was my first introduction to floral installation pieces (large statement pieces that require special rigging) and I learned so much helping them create! Rachel .botanicals showed me a technique of using recycled drink containers zap-strapped to a post as an environmentally friendly alternative to floral foam. Watching all these amazing lady’s create also made the idea of an instillation much less intimidating! 😅

On Friday night, while putting together bouquets and arrangements for , I decided I should try my hand at making an installation on my own!

My crew left a little earlier Saturday morning for the market and after setting up the tables I got to work on the installation. Using extra blooms and greenery foraged from the back woods this piece quickly came together!

I learned a whole lot and while I’m proud of how it came out there’s a few things I would have done differently! Sometimes you gotta dive in and do it to learn how to do it better!

It ended up being a huge hit at the market with lots of people stopping to take picture with it! It also opened up the conversation about local Canadian grown flowers, a topic that, let’s face it, does not come up often in daily life! 😂

Although it was a bit of a last minute idea and I was a little underprepared I’m glad I gave it a shot, it’s always rewarding to step outside your comfort zone and try something new! 🤍

This weeks flowers feature lots of Sweet William along with the first dahlias and zinnias of the season! The usual suspects, sunflowers, statice and feverfew round out the bouquets!

It’s another beautiful day at the market! ☀️✨

We’ve harvested the field and brought down our best seasonal blooms to the today! The second sowing of Canterbury bells are blooming along with the last of the perennial phlox! Sunflowers, statice, feverfew, sweet William, snap dragons and solidago fill in the gaps! 😍

Stop by and smell the sweet peas, we’re here from 9-2 at Memorial Peace Park! 😘

It’s a beautiful day for flowers! 🥰

Each week brings something new blooming in the garden and this week it’s phlox! We’ve got stunning phlox in two different colours featured on every bouquet and arrangement! They smell lovely and last a long time as new blooms form on each stem as the old ones are finished! ✨

We’ve stocked the stand with $15 sunflower bouquets today and tomorrow (until sold out)!

Pairing three of my favourites, sunflowers, feverfew and solidago, these cute little bouquets are sure to bring a smile to anyone’s face! 🥰😘

Summer beauty! ✨🤍☀️

Every spring (and especially this spring!) I look out over the flower field and wonder if there will ever be flowers… and then one day BOOM! Abundance! 🙌 Everything I painstakingly planted on my hands and knees on the rain had come to fruition and there’s more than enough beautiful blooms! It happens every year without fail but sometimes it’s hard to believe!

We’re heading down to the today with an abundance of stunning bouquets and arrangements stuffed with some of my favourites… feverfew, stock and sunnies, oh my! 🌻🌸🤍
