I recently photographed a quinceañera decor setup in Stanford CT and it was such a beautiful experience. Claudia designed the loveliest pink and gold theme with soft florals, butterflies and a mix of tall and small centerpieces that brought the whole room to life.

She is incredibly detail oriented and passionate about her craft, and capturing her work was truly enjoyable. Even though this celebration was in CT, I’m excited to connect with more quinceañera families in NYC who want their decor, details and memories photographed with care.

Z and J exploring DUMBO on a soft, gloomy April morning. Even without sunshine, Brooklyn gave us the most beautiful tones. DUMBO doesn’t get cherry blossoms, but the yellow flowers blooming around added warmth and almost a fall inspired look to their spring session.
What I love about DUMBO is how many iconic spots are packed into one small area. Jane’s Carousel glowing by the waterfront, the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan Bridge views, the skyline behind Pebble Beach, the cobblestones, the narrow streets, the mix of industrial lines and soft light. It’s such a dreamy location for engagement photos.
Cloudy mornings actually work in your favor here. They make everything feel cinematic and calm, and the soft light lets you relax and be yourselves without harsh shadows.
If you’re envisioning your engagement session in New York next spring, this is your sign to start planning early. DUMBO is perfect if you want warm tones, city views, and honest, effortless moments.

A Halloween wedding… but make it romantic, meaningful, and unapologetically them. 🖤🌹
This Central Park micro wedding was pure fall magic, the perfect mix of amor, tradition, and a little spooky twist. Martha wore a stunning black gown and veil, her ring shaped like a red coffin wrapped in delicate spider webs. Juan’s skeleton hand boutonnière and skull tie tied it all together. Guests showed up on theme in black, red, and burgundy, and every detail was on point.
Even the bride’s necklace was the sweetest detail, it featured photos of her two cats, perfectly matching the red and black tones of the day. 🐾♥️
They’ve always described their relationship as not traditional, so a Halloween themed wedding felt just right. It was their way to honor who they are and also to celebrate Día de los Mu***os; details incorporated in their reception, a nod to their Mexican roots and the beauty of love that transcends time.
Their officiant, Yalenis, created such a heartfelt ceremony, beautifully tailored to their story. And Claire planned everything so perfectly. Every detail and logistic came together seamlessly for this unforgettable day.
High school sweethearts who went to prom together, now saying “I do” surrounded by fall colors, family, friends, and the magic of Central Park.
Love stories come in all styles. This one just happened to wear black. 🖤✨

This beautiful Central Park elopement was everything a spring wedding in NYC should be; romantic, peaceful, and filled with heartfelt moments.
It was such a pleasure working with Claire whose expertise in planning Central Park weddings truly shines. Though she now lives in the UK, her years of experience (and time living in NYC) have given her a deep knowledge of the park, what it takes to create a seamless wedding day and make every couple’s day feel effortless and well cared for.

This sweet couple traveled from out of state to exchange vows surrounded by blooming trees, nature and iconic views as Bethesda Terrace, and all the hidden gems in between.
One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer in New York City is capturing love stories of all kinds; from young couples just starting out to couples getting married later in life. Every story is beautiful and unique.

It was an honor to document such a meaningful celebration in the heart of the city.

Love is love and this surprise proposal in Brooklyn was everything.
Hector planned a beautiful anniversary evening in Dumbo, a casual stroll near Jane’s Carousel, skyline selfies, and golden hour views. What Carlos didn’t know was that this walk was leading to a life changing moment.

When Hector got down on one knee, the crowd around them erupted in cheers. It was emotional, joyful, and unforgettable. With the New York City skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge as their backdrop, the moment couldn’t have been more picture perfect. After a few happy FaceTime calls to share the news, I captured their engagement photo session under the Manhattan Bridge, surrounded by the beauty of blue hour and the lights of the city.

Capturing LGBTQ love stories is an honor I treasure. Whether it’s a proposal, engagement, or wedding, every love story deserves to be celebrated, remembered, and beautifully documented.

Cherry blossom season in NYC is an absolute dream – and it’s the perfect time for a romantic engagement session! The soft pink and white blooms create such a magical atmosphere, and the warmer weather makes everything even better.

I had so much fun capturing Wrujuta and Gaurang’s engagement – their joy and connection made this session unforgettable!
