The Band Boosters are a dedicated and fun-loving group of people who help behind the scenes to support the students and directors of all of the band programs at Reynoldsburg City Schools. This is an excellent way to support music programs that are important to students who are special to you. We work with uniforms, concessions, pit equipment, band camp, fundraisers, and OMEA contests.
Our annual Band-Aid Day fundraiser is coming up next weekend!
Band members will be going door to door in the community raising money to fund our program. Students will be in full uniform, so look for us while you are out and about Saturday!

Good morning Raider Marching Pride! We just wanted to reach out and thank all of you that volunteered or helped out in any capacity the past 3 weeks. Yes, it was an extremely busy 3 weeks but we could not be more happy with the amount of support our incredible families and students were willing to provide, and so many of you did even with your very busy lives!! Our program is only successful because of all of you, and because of all of you, Band Camp and The Tomato Festival were a hit!! Thank you all again!!! We look forward to seeing all of you throughout the season!!! Let’s continue to make our band program thrive!! 😊💜💛

We will be selling tomatoes at the festival again today and tomorrow, so make sure to stop by the booth and pick up a basket. They are delicious! 🍅

Each year, the Band Boosters tent is highlighted as the only place to get fried green tomatoes at the Tomato Festival. (Look for us Thursday morning on ABC). We need many volunteers to cook, serve, and collect payment throughout the weekend. If multiple volunteers sign up to cover a shift, then no one has to be there all weekend. Right now we need volunteers for all days, but Saturday is really light on volunteers and is our busiest day. Students are allowed to volunteer as well! Please consider covering a shift or two. Here is the sign-up:

Today’s the day!
Our hearts are heavy, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Porter family tonight. Last Thursday, our Waggoner Road junior high band director, Liz Porter, and her husband lost their 15-month old son, Owen. He has been in the hospital since January, and they have been at his side the entire time as he fought for his life. I can think of no greater loss than that of a child, and cannot fathom their grief at this difficult time.
As they make arrangements for little Owen, there is a looming flood of medical bills that are going to come their way. This is where we need your help. We have set up a GoFundMe page for the Porter family in memory of Owen in hopes that we can relieve some of the burden those bills will present. Even if you do not know the Porters, or have never met Owen, you know grief, and you know debt. There is not much we can do about the grief, but we do have the ability to support them with the debt.
I hope you will join me in surrounding the Porter family with love, in your thoughts, your prayers, and with the resources you have been blessed with. Please feel free to forward this on to your contacts, and to reach out to me with any questions you may have. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

Tonight is the night for our Mattress Sale information meeting! The meeting is on Zoom tonight at 7pm so you can join from wherever you are! The meeting should only be about 30 minutes.
This is a big annual event for us and one of the easiest ones for everyone! All you need to do is attend this info meeting and if we get enough folks at the meeting and then enough engagement on the facebook event we will get a $500 bonus for the program! There will also be a chance for someone in the meeting to win a $125 giftcard to Kroger or Amazon!
