Pippa, no one does it like she does it. From helping with vows to getting photos with the cows, she covered every base. She went above and beyond to help us and no job was too big or too small. We could not have asked for a more friendly, down-to-earth, resourceful, passionate wedding celebrant and MC.

Pippa clearly loves her job and takes such pride in her work, she devotes herself to making sure everything comes together on the day and keeps you level headed when you’re worried about all the little things.

The way Pippa organises absolutely everything, from the vendors to photos (professional whip-cracker) and back to hand delivering your wedding cake to guests is second to none. We are so glad we had the privilege of getting Pippa to marry us.

She knows her craft inside and out, and thanks to Pippa, our day went as seamlessly as it did. We don’t think it’s hyperbole to say we couldn’t have done it without her.

“Pippa helped us create the most wonderful, magical ceremony we could have dreamt of. From the first meeting six months prior, she was supportive, prepared, engaging and brought a really easy process to planning the ceremony.

The ceremony itself was beautiful, emotional, funny and actually just perfect. We all went from smiling to crying to laughing and back again, about ten times in 30 minutes! Everyone we’ve spoken to since the big day said what a great job Pippa did, and deservedly so. Pippa helped us tell our story in the most amazing way possible.

You know how sometimes, you try to describe just how glorious and magnificent something that you witnessed was, but words fail you, and the best thing you can come up with is to say ‘You had to be there’?

That’s how I feel about Amy + Andy’s wedding. No matter how hard I try to articulate just how breathtakingly magical every inch of this day was, I’ll inevitably fall miles short.

I adore these photos of Amy + Andy’s guests that captured perfectly - each one of them bursting with excitement and happiness and warmth, wearing their brightest colours and so ready to celebrate.

When I pronounced Amy and Andy as officially married, the applause was rapturous. And it went on, and on, and on… and ON. It’s the longest applause I’ve EVER heard at a wedding. Everyone just kept on clapping, such was their unbridled joy at getting to witness two of the most wonderful human beings celebrate their love.

This ceremony was the very definition of joy, and I passionately believe this is how your ceremony can and should feel.

Thank you, Amy + Andy for having me on your special day. It was truly unforgettable. I’m SO happy I was there.

When you become The Family Celebrant…

On Saturday, I married Emma + Matt in what I called The Wedding of The Year.

Not to be confused with The Wedding of Last Year, when I married Emma’s brother, Tom and his dream girl, Pippa.

It’s all kinds of extra special when you’re welcomed into a beautiful family so warmly and generously, only to be invited to return and celebrate with them once more.

Hey, guess what?! A Rehearsal Won’t Make Your Ceremony Less Fun!

To rehearse or not to rehearse, that is the question… and the answer is, it’s completely up to you!

A rehearsal can be a fun and relaxed way to casually walk through your ceremony, giving you a clear mental picture of how it will run. For some, this helps to settle some nerves so that you head into your wedding day feeling comfortable and at ease. Or, you might prefer to totally wing it! That’s fine too! Whatever you decide, I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way. You really can’t stuff it up, I promise.

Torrential rain and a broken car radiator was never going to stop me marrying Sophie + Liam! These two dreamboats totally owned their wet weather plan, proving that your Plan B can be just as good as your Plan A. Backed up by a bridal party of total legends and an elite line up of vendors, this rainy day shone like diamonds. Sophie + Liam, I am officially your new biggest fan! 🤍

The rain couldn’t stop these big cheesy grins on Saturday! Liz + Matt have burrowed their way deep into my heart and their wedding left me floating on air. Two beautifully warm, kind souls (not to mention mega hotties) who were surrounded by the most welcoming, supportive and fun group of family and friends, ready to celebrate in rain, hail or shine. I kid you not, the clouds parted and the sun came out right as the ceremony started and stuck around until just after it finished. It was magic.
It’s days like these when I pinch myself and feel overwhelmed with gratitude that this is what I get to do! Happy Wedding Mr + Mrs Purse, thank you for welcoming me into your lives to tell your story 🫶🏼

Scooted down to Canberra last week to hang out with the legends from for a Creative Writing Masterclass for Celebrants! Because even when you’re a seasoned writer, there’s always room to add some extra Pop💥 Zing⚡️and Sparkle✨ to your ceremony. More 😂🥰👏🏼 and less 🫤🥱😴 etc, etc. Got to hang out with a bunch of other delightful celebrants, marvel at (The Master of Masterclasses) and even had some fancy pics taken by ! It was just swell! I’m so grateful to The Celebrant Society, who work hard every day to cultivate a wonderful, supportive and inclusive community for celebrants all over Australia.

I can’t create amazing Excel spreadsheets, but what I can do, and love to do, is create wedding ceremonies that are super special, personal, memorable and totally non-boring for you and your guests. And that’s what you deserve! It really, truly is! 💯♥️🤌🏼

JESSIE + CALEB 🤍
One year ago today, on a very cold, very wet winters morning, I arrived at Jessie + Caleb’s home where a handful of their dearest friends had gathered, and they were married whilst sitting at their kitchen table. Sweet Archer was very protective of the rings, and little Darcy was on the way🤰🏻An honest, intimate and perfect moment. I’ve loved watching this beautiful family grow over the last year! It is always such an privilege to be invited to be a part of someone’s story. Happy First Wedding Anniversary, Jessie + Caleb! What a special day indeed! 🥂

Getting bogged in the pouring rain on the way to a wedding when you’re the celebrant is about as funny as a fart in an elevator 💨 Luckily, I didn’t have that problem today thanks to and his trusty Hilux! Rocking my Wet Weather Glam Lewk in my rain boots setting up at for Sarah & Brad today! 🥾☔️💐

OH WHAT A NIGHT ✨ Hosting Stars Of Dubbo "Dance For Cancer" was a job so fun it should be made illegal! Watching 12 local legends rise to the challenge and leave it all on the dance floor while raising vital funds for the Cancer Council NSW was truly something special. I reckon we’d be hard pressed to find someone we know who hasn’t been affected by cancer in some way shape or form, which is why this event is so bloody powerful and important. On Friday night, Dubbo raised $154, 596 with Team Trangie and Team Warren taking out the awards for Star’s Star, Highest Fundraiser and People’s Choice. My heart could explode with pride. Never underestimate the power of small towns who know how to rally. 🌟

A Double Bill Wedding Weekend! 🤍

On Friday afternoon, Harriet and Jake gathered with just a handful of their closest family members and their two beautiful daughters at to exchange their marriage vows. It was the most intimate and wholesome afternoon, I honestly felt like part of the family as their celebrant!

Then on Saturday, Jess and Chris had their family and friends gather for their wedding ceremony that celebrated their 12 year love story and paid homage to their families heritage and legacy with a powerful Acknowledgment of Country and reading, both delivered in traditional Wiradjuri language. It was so incredibly moving.

Two different couples with different stories and different weddings yet equally beautiful and unique, sharing the common threads of warmth, authenticity, fun and a deep love and commitment for their forever person.

I’m always so honoured when couples invite me into their worlds for such a special and significant time in their lives. My heart is bursting with happiness for Harriet & Jake and Jess & Chris!

Happy Valentines Day to Alex & Alicia van Dartel, who I had the absolute honour and privilege of marrying a few months ago. Alex & Alicia are so adored by their friends and family, their day was brimming with joy, meaning and all the things that are important to them. They also wrote me some beautifully kind words -

With the gorgeous stuck in Sydney, I subbed in for her on Saturday to marry Jordan & Chris, who enjoyed a micro wedding that was so perfectly “them”. I’ve never experienced more laughter during a ceremony! Jordan & Chris just oozed joy and fun, proving that it doesn’t matter if there’s 10 or 110 guests, whether it’s warm and sunny or cold and raining, you can still have the most magical day. Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Johnson 🤍 📸 absolutely knocking it out of the park, again.

Today’s news has dealt another body blow to so many, particularly those in Western NSW, and even more so to those whose wedding dates loom in the coming months.

Broken hearts, discouragement, disappointment and hopelessness are real and raw. As one bride, who today watched her wedding dreams crumble, shared with me this afternoon, “It’s like a candle that’s about to burn out - there’s that one last flicker of hope, and then it’s gone.”

Weddings are a big deal for lots of reasons, but at their core, weddings are about love and connection. Two things that we all need now more than ever.

This is me and my friend Warrick on the morning of his wedding, back in May. Their hearts were broken when they had to postpone in 2020. But here we are, both overcome with emotion that the day had arrived, and he was finally about to marry his best friend.

If you feel like you need an embrace, this one is for you. May you feel surrounded by love, even in the midst of despair. May it fan the smallest candle flame of hope. Your day will come. And when it does, we will embrace, and we will weep together with joy, because your story is so worth celebrating. I’m with you. ❤️‍🩹🕯
