Last week in Yosemite, something amazing and beautiful happened, and I just have to share some stills from the video we captured of it! Story below 👇

• The stills above were from the end of the day. We had a sunrise ceremony, followed by a great day of hiking and enjoying Yosemite, and I could share some stills from those parts of the day too (and I’m sure I will later), but right now, this is the moment I want to focus on. We were back at the AirBNB for an intimate reception. There were 9 people there that day, including the bride and groom, all of whom had traveled across the globe from the UK to be there. This was no small thing. I needed to hear from these people.

• At the airBNB, there was a bit of downtime, so I rounded everyone up outside, setup some mics and cameras, and gave everyone the opportunity to say a few words, share memories, feelings they had that day, anything. I was not at all prepared for how amazing that roundtable conversation would be!

• The conversation took a life of its own, and went on for nearly 45min. This was exactly what I was looking for; a fun and natural dialogue that could not only be a blessing to Sean and Lucy on their big day, but also provided me with priceless footage and audio that I can use to tell their story better I could’ve ever planned for.

• When we finished shooting that, I said “NOW we have a documentary.” And that’s exactly what we’re going to be making. Not a wedding video; a documentary, a film about them!

• I’ve said before that big things are coming for Cinematic Wedding Co. in 2024, and this is part of that. I am thrilled to announce that we are officially entering into the DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING space!! We’ve added all new “documentary packages” to our services and we’d love to share them with you! Not only can we shoot your wedding day in doc style, complete with interviews, extra shooters, etc., we can take it even FURTHER, by filming other events leading up to the big day! 🗓️🎥 This could be things like the dress shopping, tux fittings, rehearsal/rehearsal dinner, the possibilities are endless!

I may not be the best hiker, but I don’t think too many people can say they’ve hiked Yosemite wearing an Easyrig 💪🏻 Sean & Lucy’s elopement yesterday was absolutely incredible. Can’t WAIT to share this one 🏞️🎥

Sunrise elopement in Yosemite? Yes Please! 🤩

On May 25th, 2023, Wyatt & Jennifer had an incredible sunrise elopement in Yosemite National Park! The setting was absolutely jaw-dropping, but their love-story was the real beauty to behold. You couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a morning, among good people, celebrating a beautiful start to a new chapter. It was truly a privilege to be there for this.

On November 6th, 2021, Dario & Alyssa Aluisi had a gorgeous backyard wedding in Reedley, CA! This was a particular honor for me, as this marked the last of the three Regier family weddings that I have had the joy of filming. It has been a blessing to be a part of each of them. Chris & Katie // Reception Highlights

This was a really special night. Chris & Katie Johnson were married on October 3rd, 2020, in an intimate setting with close family & friends. And a year later, on October 16th, 2021, they had the reception they always wanted! Hundreds of people gathered at the pristine Panoche Creek River Ranch, to celebrate the love & marriage of Chris & Katie. It was a magical night, and a true joy to be a part of it. We have so many weddings from this fall season, and we are so excited as the finished videos are going to start pouring in over the next few months! And to start off that list, we have the beautiful wedding of Dalton & Julie Reynolds! They were married on September 11th, 2021 at The Ranch venue in Selma, CA. It was an absolutely perfect day, in an incredible place, surrounded by wonderful people. Their love story is inspiring, and their joy on that day was so evident.
