Our Story
Storybook Parties was established in the summer of 2017 but was a dream since 2002. Our owner grew up loving Disney and had the opportunity to work for them at the age of 19. She loved how she was able to bring so much joy to kids of all ages. When she returned from her magical adventure, she knew that there were children, young and young at heart, who would never get to experience meeting their favorite character. She knew that she wanted to continue sharing the joy with others that she was trained in and loved doing. It became her passion to make sure those around her felt loved. She made appearances around Eastern Idaho as just one princess but knew that she needed to expand and add more beloved characters. With the support of her handsome prince, she started making plans.
Storybook Parties came to life with just her and her sisters at first with only three characters. Fairest Princess, Glass Slipper Princess, and Beauty Princess. They started out doing small birthday parties, charity and fundraisers, and small business events. They loved to see the little ones faces light up when their favorite princess was at the door or at an event they were at. From there Storybook Parties started to expand into Superheroes, Pirates, Fairies, Mermaids, even Santa and Mrs Claus, and so much more. We are always adding new characters and even have created our own characters (Unicorn Princess). We do take requests as well.
Our motto is to bring magic and memories that will last a lifetime. We pride ourselves on being high quality, professional, and well trained. Each of our performers audition to be apart of our team. All of them sing, dance, and are professional. They are each individually trained by the owner. Each of us are required to also go through a children’s safety course. We are trained with you and your children’s safety in mind as well as bringing joy, laughter, and memories.
We love what we do! We offer many different unique party and event packages. Each are designed and themed after the character or characters that you choose. Each party package can include anything from themed story time and singing time, themed games, themed crafts, and much more. Each party even includes a special oath ceremony that includes a gift for the birthday child or children. We even over Promposal’s for unique ways to ask your special someone to a school dance, date, or even to marry you. We also have incredible add on’s. We have teamed up with several local companies with you in mind to offer a one stop shop for your party needs. We have add on’s that include anything from face painting, limo service, party decorator, photographer, cake decorator, themed character clothes, and much more.
