I've had highs and lows. Knowing that I loved my sons with every fiber of my being but they are now longer here in the flesh just rips my heart apart daily.

I smile because I will always be a mother of 4 sons, 2 in heaven and 2 here with me. I'm forever grateful that they will forever live in the part of my heart that God ordained just for them. Forever live Damon and Patrick. Mommy will always keep your memories alive. Steven and Jermaine thank you for being 2 amazing sons, brothers, husbands, and fathers. Mommy is super proud of you both.

This week was a really bad week for me mentally. Grief overcame me. I shutdown and stayed home, shut out the world. I'm fighting a battle dailey that most wouldn't understand. Today was a better day and I count that as a win.

So today we had the pleasure to serve the Morehouse School of Medicine and Spellman College. We had a young man that placed an order for Jerk Chicken and we didnt have any more so I told him he can order anything from the menu as he had already paid for the Jerk Chicken. He then ordered the Oxtail Rasta Pasta and this was his message to me.

"I must say for this to not be what i ordered, that was the best meal I’ve had in a minute!! I was getting so full but still didnt wana stop eating! I cant wait to try the jerk chicken!"

It's not always about the money it's always about a happy customer.

Served Delta Airlines staff 350+ meals yesterday. I cook as therapy after losing my son to a murder and then I lost my 1st born to illness. The amazing feeling I get when people take the time to comeback after eating my food to say it was delicious and they need to visit me often is just so heart warming.

I know my sons are working with God to make it all happen. My son Steven and my husband Mark worked with me to get everyone fed and I love and appreciate them very much. I'm gonna keep on pushing.
